The Minnesota Vikings are hoping to move up in the NFL Draft from their current first-round pick positions of No. 23 and No. 25, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. Rapoport adds that the Vikings are targeting a wide receiver or cornerback with their first-round selection. From Total Access: Hear #VIkings want to move up in draft from 23 or 25. Want CB & WR. Moving up would likely mean WR: Austin or Patterson? — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 18, 2013 Rapoport speculates that Minnesota could be targeting a wide receiver such as Tavon Austin of West Virginia or Tennessee’s Corarrelle Patterson. He believes the team would look to use the No. 23 selection to move up, while it would hold onto the No. 25 pick. Minnesota acquired additional picks from the Seattle Seahawks during the Percy Harvin trade. The deal not only provided the team with additional picks, but it left them with a vacancy at wide out. There are a few teams – including the San Diego Chargers – that are reportedly interested in moving back in the draft, so it will be interesting to see if the Vikings can swing a deal and nab the player they covet. Let’s not forget that it was a line that enabled Adrian Peterson...

Ah Crap, Adrian Peterson is Going to Probably Be on the Madden Cover

It feels like we've been fighting this battle for YEARS, but ultimately in 2011 we learned it didn't matter.
