On Monday, April 1, Adrian Peterson will be among the many luminaries who will attend and participate in the annual Egg Roll event at the White House on the South Lawn. The entirety of the festivities will be broadcast live here. The Minnesota Vikings running back reportedly will be reading to children on the Storytime Stage. NASCAR driver Danica Patrick, 9-year-old actress Quvenzhane Wallis from Beasts of the Southern Wild and several Sesame Street characters will be joining him. Peterson will also be joining other representatives from the President’s Council on Fitness in the event’s “Eggtivity Zone,” teaching youngsters how to stay healthy and active. And while it is a worthwhile event and certainly an honor to be invited, all that I could think of when I first read about Adrian Peterson’s inclusion is that hilarious “Bad NFL Lip-Reading” video where Peterson supposedly says, “Egg roll, I wish I had a breeze running down my leg. I’d kill for a cookie. Sting-ray a double-sided Sco...

Christian Ponder invited to test Google Glass

Christian Ponder is among the 8,000 people selected to test Google Glass. Google Glass is a pair of eyeglasses that functions as a computer. It allows users to take pictures and record videos through verbal commands. The new form of technology has been warmly received and there has been a lot of anticipation surrounding its scheduled 2014 release. Last month, Google Glass was soliciting...

A Challenger Appears: Kyle Rudolph's Ice Auger Celebration Has Potential

I think we're all in agreement that Minnesota Vikings tight end, Kyle Rudolph, has been disgustingly underused, correct? Despite having nine touchdown receptions during the season last year, it's clear that he could be a much larger component of the passing game, especially after watching him earn MVP honors in the 2013 Pro Bowl. Instead, with the Vikings, he's been stuck...

The Patriots sign Michael Jenkins...who, you ask?

Hold the phone! You'll want to pump this jam for when you read this news. Patriots are signing WR Michael Jenkins, per @jasonlacanfora. — Christopher Price (@cpriceNFL) March 28, 2013 No, who? I do actually kind of know who Michael Jenkins is. I think I remember hearing Matthew Berry saying you should pick him up if you are desperate in a deep fantasy league last year...

Mike Wallace turned down more money from the Vikings to sign with the Dolphins

Mike Wallace’s father claims his son was ready to get out of the cold weather and head down to Miami to play for the Dolphins.  He says the Vikings told Wallace that he doesn’t have to live in Minnesota, they just want him to play for them. “The [Vikings] had come to the point where they were telling him, ‘You don’t have to live here, just be here during the season,...

Deeper Look into Jenkins Signing

According to multiple reports, the Patriots aim to sign veteran receiver Michael Jenkins, previously of the Minnesota Vikings. Wait, the Patriots going after a receiver that’s seemingly past his prime? What’s this remind you of? Ochocinco maybe? Maybe you wouldn’t have guessed that since the memory of Ocho has been repressed further than the day that girl you liked told you...

Report: Patriots To Sign WR Michael Jenkins

Jason La Canfora is reporting that the New England Patriots will sign free agent WR Michael Jenkins. Jenkins, 30, was released Vikings a few weeks before the start of free agency. He’s drawn very little interest since then, but the Patriots seem to always be keeping tabs on available receivers during this time of the year. Last year, he totaled 40 receptions for 449 yards and...
