EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. The Minnesota Vikings will be earning quite a few more frequent flier miles next season.The NFL officially announced Tuesday that the Vikings will play one of two games next season in London's historic Wembley Stadium. Minnesota, which had previously announced interest in being one of the teams to play a home game in London, will host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sept. 29, 2013. The Jacksonville Jaguars, who are scheduled to play one home game in London from 2013-16, will host the San Francisco 49ers on Oct. 27, 2013 in the second game.The occasion, announced following Tuesday's owners meetings, marks s the first time in league history two regular-season games will be played in London.Minnesota's participation is part of a one-year commitment to play in London, and will be the first game in the United Kingdom for the Vikings since a 1983 preseason game, the NFL's first game in London."This is a unique opportunity for the Vikings organization to highlight our brand on an international level," Vikings owner and president Mark Wilf said in a release. "Playing in London provides exceptional exposure to the team, as well as Minnesota's impressive business community and tourism industry. We are honored to represent the NFL on a global level, and we look forward to playing in front of our international fan base."
