According to Mark Craig of the Star-Tribune, the Minnesota Vikings have signed undrafted rookie free agent wide receiver Duron Carter, who is the son of Hall of Fame Vikings wide receiver Cris Carter.
Cris Carter just called to say his great year just got better. His son, Duron Carter, a 6-4 receiver, will sign with the #Vikings today.

Carter bounced around from college to college during his NCAA career due to academics issues.
Duron floated from Ohio State to Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College, and from Alabama to Florida Atlantic during a college odyssey repeatedly derailed by academic woes.
“He. Just. Hates. (Bleeping). School,” Cris Carter told USA Today’s Mike Garafolo earlier this month.
His father insists Duron will thrive in a football-only environment, saying, “I know there aren’t a lot of better receivers than him in this draft.”
Hopefully Duron can take advantage of he chance the Vikings are giving him and have a great career like his father.
