The Vikings signed cornerback Josh Robinson toa four-year contract on Wednesday and continued negotiations with first-round pick Matt Kalil, the only rookie in Minnesota's 10-member 2012 draft class yet to sign with the team. The Vikings drafted Robinson in the third round (66th overall). He was the second defensive back drafted by the team -- Notre Dame safety Harrison Smith was the 29th overall pick -- in the 2012 draft and should provide depth at cornerback, where the Vikings were thinned by injuries early and often last season. Robinson posted the fastest 40-yard dash time at the 2012 Scouting Combine, running a blazing 4.33-second time. Robinson ranked fifth in University of Central Florida history with 10 career INTs.
