According to Dan Pompei of the National Football Post, Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin hasn’t fallen out of favor in Minnesota. Percy Harvin has not fallen out of favor in Minnesota, despite the perception. In fact, Vikings coaches say good things about Harvin, who is close with receivers guru George Stewart. Like a lot of elite receivers, Harvin wants the football. But the Vikings can live with that. Harvin is the hardest worker in practice. He doesn’t get in trouble off the field. He is bright. And he is popular in the locker room. The only issues he has are being too competitive or too passionate, so he can be a little high maintenance at times. Harvin is a heck of a player that proved this season that he deserves to get the ball,  he was a big part of helping quarterback Christian Ponder and the Vikings move the ball through the air.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })(); sr_adspace_id = 1000005525107; sr_adspace_width = 300; sr_adspace_height = 250; sr_ad_new_window = true; sr_adspace_type = "graphic";

  • Last year Harvin had migraine problems and this year he had injuries, but there just aren't many guys who can do the things that he can do. I think the Vikings need to give him another year and limit his touches to try and keep him healthy. Also, the Vikes need an outside receiver to take some of the pressure off of him and Peterson.

Your 2012 Minnesota Vikings Mushroom Stampies - An Awards Thingy

I was sitting around last night fluffing myself, trying not to think about the Vikings before I lose my arousal, but then it was too late. I reflected on the 2012 season and found myself flaccid immediately, but I had also just flicked through the Golden Globes and saw Adele's face. Boom, tying the sweats back up tight, game over. I also then remembered that it was award...

Webb creates questions at backup QB

Joe Webb’s performance in the playoff game raises the question about the Vikings’ viability at backup quarterback. Do they need a veteran presence there to fill in when needed and guide Christian Ponder when he is playing? There are some mid-level names scheduled to be free agents.

Donovan McNabb’s Mom Sings a Love Ballad About Her Son’s Career (Video)

To be honest I came in with very low expectations, so it wasn’t as bad as I expected. Sounded like a Stewie Griffin ballad, but I was able to make it through the whole thing. Might want to chill on trying to hit those Mariah Carey style notes though. Is this considering McNabb’s official retirement song? H/T No Guts No Glory
