Von Miller is one of several NFL players who have joined up with the USO on a trip to visit U.S. military bases across the Middle East. This is a hell of an off-season activity. You just know that John Elway is sitting in Denver sweating as his prized possession is over in a war zone ripping assault rifle rounds. He posted the above photo with the following tweet: The other NFL players who have joined Von on the trip are Champ Bailey, J.J. Watt, Steve Smith, D’Qwell Jackson and Davin Joseph. Speaking of J.J. Watt, sweet photobomb brah. Von really seems to be enjoying his trip and has done a hell of a job documenting everything on his Twitter account. He even spotted a soldier who happened to be a serious Denver Broncos superfan. Hats off to Von Miller and the other NFL stars for taking time out of their off-season to show some support to our military. Check out the rest of his behind the scenes photos in the gallery below. Robert Kraft: I don’t answer to Tom Brady

It looks like  Wes Welker’s defection to the Denver Broncos will not go away sooner than later. New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft stirred the pot at the NFL’ s annual meeting on Monday. Please click here to read this story. The post Robert Kraft: I don’t answer to Tom Brady appeared first on Players View.

Broncos prefer to re-sign Elvis Dumervil

We reported earlier that Elvis Dumervil wasn’t thrilled with the Broncos’ contract offer, which will force him to meet with other teams. Even though the Broncos’ offer wasn’t what Dumervil is looking for, they prefer to have him back, according to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun.  The only problem is that they can’t afford to give him the $8 million he was going to get...

Rumor Mill: Denver Has Made a Higher Offer to Dumervil than Baltimore

Per Les Shapiro of Denver’s ESPN Station 102.3, The Broncos have made a higher offer to bring back Elvis Dumervil than what is currently on the table from the Baltimore Ravens.  This is pretty unfounded at this point, so it comes down to how good of a source Les has.  That said, it appears the organization is holding to their word that they’re intent on keeping Doom in the...

Dwight Freeney, John Abraham to meet Broncos

The Denver Broncos appear to be moving on without defensive end Elvis Dumervil as the team will meet with Dwight Freeney and John Abraham on Thursday, according to Mike Klis of The Denver Post. Dumervil is expected to begin

Broncos, Dumervil still in talks

Somehow, through it all, the Denver Broncos and Elvis Dumervil are still on speaking terms. The fax machine relationship clearly wasn’t working. After a second denial by the NFL to reconsider the Broncos and Dumervil’s case, and after Dumervil fired his previous agent and hired Tom Condon, the team and their defensive end are still in talks, The Denver Post reports. Dumervil...

Denver Offers Dumervil New Contract After “Fax-gate”

Denver Broncos team president John Elway went on record today with ESPN stating the team has made a new offer to defensive end Elvis Dumervil after his agent failed to file the paperwork of an agreed upon restructured contract by the 4 P.M. EST deadline. “We’ve offered Elvis a contract,” said Elway Tuesday afternoon. “We’d like to have Elvis back.” The terms of this new...

Von Miller Releases Email Address For Jersey Chasers

Want to send an email to Von Miller’s phone while he’s in Afghanistan where he’s shooting assault rifles on some USO mission and probably not handling the time change very well. That has to be the reason why the Broncos linebacker inadvertently released his email account while tweeting a photo of some Lil Wayne email. As you can see in the evidence pile below, Von’s email...

Denver Broncos: John Elway or Peyton Manning?

It's time to get the comparisons ready, and where's a better place to start than the Denver Broncos?  When discussing each from an overall career standpoint, it's not easy to make a decision, they are both Hall Of Fame quarterbacks.  Manning is a definite shoe in for the Hall Of Fame once he retires, and in his first season as a Broncos quarterback, he nearly led the...

Vasquez the vanguard of Broncos' splurge

(Eds: APNewsNow.) By ARNIE STAPLETON AP Pro Football Writer New Denver Broncos' right guard Louis Vasquez has a penchant for avoiding penalties and keeping his quarterback upright. He only committed one infraction in college - he says it was a bad call, of course - and he had one more in his four years with the San Diego Chargers, and that came on a field goal. At 330 pounds...

Comparing Dumervil, Abraham and Freeney

The Denver Broncos have expressed interest in three free agent pass-rushers: John Abraham, Dwight Freeney, and their own former defensive end Elvis Dumervil. The Broncos will meet with the first two on Thursday; they have an offer extended to Dumervil at present. So how do these free agent defensive ends compare? Let’s break it down – Player Age Height Weight 2012 PFF Score...

Detroit Lions Should Explore Adding Elvis Dumervil

If not for a big mistake by the Denver Broncos and a fax machine, there wouldn’t even be a conversation about Elvis Dumervil being on the open market. But, late Friday afternoon, a mistake happened and Dumervil went from being extended to becoming the best free agent pass rusher available. The dominating defensive end was scheduled to make $8 million dollars. The Lions, after...

Welker rep denies Kraft's claims

When reports arose Monday that the Patriots had never given Wes Welker a fresh offer, it seemed fitting. While the narrative running up to this offseason was always that the Patriots wanted Welker back, with the price the sticking point, the evidence provided over recent weeks only indicated that New England never planned for Welker to return. With the Patriots quick to move on...

Broncos rumors: Dwight Freeney, John Abraham to visit

Free agent defensive end Elvis Dumervil will see what the rest of the market has to offer after being less than pleased with the contract proposal he recently received from the Denver Broncos. While the Broncos remain hopeful of reaching an agreement with Dumervil, they are lining up alternatives, as the team is set to host free agent defensive ends Dwight Freeney and John Abraham...
