The return of Peyton Manning was one of the most talked about topics during the offseason, and he (as well as his new team) did not disappoint on Sunday night. The Denver Broncos beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-19, with Manning going 19 of 26 for 253 yards and 2 TDs — including his 400th career touchdown pass on a 71-yard strike to Demaryius Thomas. But Broncos pass-rush specialist Von Miller apparently has not forgotten about the man Manning is replacing, as he Tebowed during a sack late in the game.

  • What an ass....it was just a sack buddy, not that big of a deal....
  • This is a joke - just like Tebow. Tebow asked for Jesus to come to the Broncos - finally he answered the call.
  • The only " joke " is someone who would put down a man because of his religion . Do you know where you are ?
One of the few places on this earth where you can do and be who you are . Tebow whats Jesus in his life , guess what , he can ! You want to be a joke , and you are IMHO , you can !
  • Tebow is a joke he doesn't belong in the NFL, that's not a dig at his religion that part comes next. I love that you pointed out that we live in a place where we CAN dog on religion, that is in fact because we have separation of church and state.-Granted its a flawed semi separation- Remember “Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it, you'd have good people doing good things and evil people doing bad things, but for good people to do bad things, it takes religion.”- Steven Weinberg
  • Christianity is the greatest thing that ever came into my ife. I got a lot of money, a career and family but only Christ gave me a life! Joke as much as you wish but your speaking of something you don't know and have never experienced. Christianity gave me dignity. "Only Christianity, rightly understood, can lift a man up give him significance, yet without arrogance, bring him down and humble him, yet without dispair." Martin Lloyd Jones
  • A joke?? Neither Tebow or Jesus Christ is a joke! However, your short sided shallow comment is truly the joke here.
  • His gesture was one of respect to Tim, an awesome person. We were in the north endzone seats loving every moment. The roars all game were incredible. My ears re still ringing. A sack is always a "big deal", especially at that time in the game. My friend, a Steeler fan was equally impressed. GO BRONCOS
  • Get your head out of your arse, respect for a Godly man, get a life, opps, your life is all about you, dumb arse.
  • You must be a Steeler's fan! I know Tim's not a great quarterback, probably not even a good one but he's a nice guy, unlike Vick,Ben,Moss,Lewis, etc.
  • People should not make fun of Tebow. He wants to give Jesus credit for all and we all should be that way. God is awesome and we do not praise him enough. Hats off to Tebow for publicly acknowledging God.
  • A man is not an ass for being a Man. The only bad thing Tebow did
was to expose a scary number of insecure men??
Like the ?man that seems to feel he is bigger than a Sack in the NFL? How many of us could do that?
  • What a piece of crap this is. Give it up already. Pandering to the media with these phony tributes to God is deeply and highly offensive to those of us who still believe in God. And, we know that God does not determine the outcome of any athletic event. I had hopes this would be last year's media circus.
  • Hey WarriorPriest! Are you out of your mind!!??? Who are you to say ANY tribute to God is phoney!!?? If you truly believe in God you will feel AWESOME about any attention He is receiving! Change your name O.K.?
  • Read reply above and the one below . People like you need to be put in their place . As i said , this is the usa . Just as you are allowed to post what you want and believe all the bs you want to , your allowed to here . You are free to be WRONG .
    Just ask your ex's. Lol
  • you are an ass. He can celebrate how he wants to
  • I think it was a nice gesture. Tebow is awesome, as is Peyton. Go Broncos!!!
  • Totally agree with you.
  • I am hopeful that Tebow will respond by saying "while I appreciates the compliment it's not about me, it' about Jesus. Please do not pay tribute to me."
  • Apparently you all missed what he was trying to do, it wasnt him so much celebrating his sack, it was a TRIBUTE to his former teamat, and he knew he had the spotlight so he tebowed, some of the players on the team know they are FAR BETTER off with Manning of course. But they know that how everything transpired was pretty messed up.
  • Warrior Priest....It's football! Chill out dude! We in Denver had fun with Tebow last year. Get over it. What are you a Browns fan? geez.
  • Thank You ruffryder and mtgirl! I think it was an awesome tribute to Tebow! He is missed in Colorado for not only bringing great morals to a sport but for all the great things he has done for children and the community in general!! He's a great guy and missed in Colorado!
  • That was the second Tebow bow! The first was in the end zone! Did you all miss it? Praise God for those not ashamed to celebrate in their way! Some dance, some jump into the seats, some do flips, don't mock those who give thanks to God.
  • Von Miller is showing respect for the most highly criticized QB in NFL history, who took a dead last losing team with a 1 and 5 record into the playoffs and beat the Stealers, when is the last time a QB had over 300 yards on 10 completions????

Tebow's 7 and 4 record is just as amazing as the come from behind victories he orchestrated with perhaps the least playing skills of any QB. Some people wouldn't recognize a miracle if it occurred in front of them. One must first remove his cranium from his glutius maximus. A few of Tebow victories were definitely miracles regardless what football brainless fools like these have to day.
  • Giv me a break!!!! I guess everytime someone kneels to pray they will be doing it to tribute tebow. Denver could not have asked for anything better to happen than for him to take a hike. So freakin get over it.
  • ITS ABOUT RESPECT FOR A FORMER TEAM MATE,AS A JET FAN I'M HAPPY TO HAVE HIM.a CLASS ACT ALL THE WAY.THE MAN STANDS FOR TEAM AND NOT INDIVIDUAL STATS. WARRIORPRIEST .....HATE IS UGLY AND WHY BEAT SOMEONE UP FOR SPREADING THE WORD OF JESUS? ALL THE STUPID STUFF PLAYERS DO TO CELEBRATE A PLAY...THIS IS GREAT AND NOT HURTING ANYBODY!
  • A tribute to Tebow? Why? Is he dead? No? Too bad!
  • I love the impact that Tebow has on the game and the players, not to mention the impact of faith....What a great guy. Its funny, but most people just thinks this is all about football.
  • This was nice. Thank the Lord for all your blessings large or small an more blessings will come your way.
  • So all of a sudden Tebow has trademarked going to a knee to offer a silent prayer? I've been watching football a long time now and have seen many a player do that while Tebow was was stll in his "swaddling clothes". I would suggest that you wait to hear Von's reason for taking a knee before we all get heated up about Tebow again. Only Colorado-Bronco fans are sore about Tebow getting ousted, but those of us outside of colorado are glad to see him go. Sure, he IS a good guy and a great NFL player, but the truth is a lowsy NFL QB. He should do his football career a favor and just move to TE. Colorado fans need to move on, let him go and get 100% behind the QB with true "God Given Talent" Peyton Manning.

Recap: Peyton Manning Reads Dick LeBeau Like a Map, Steelers Lose

Peyton Manning is back, and it looks like he never left. If you want proof that he's the greatest quarterback of all time, watch his 4th quarter against the Steelers. It sucks to lose on opening weekend, but half the teams...

Steelers Offense Atrocious On First Downs Against Broncos

If an offense can't move the ball on first down in a football game, it sets the stage for a long night offensively, and it puts more pressure on the quarterback to convert 3rd and long situations. That is exactly what happened to the Pittsburgh Steelers last night in their 31-19 loss to the Denver Broncos in the Sunday night opener. While the game plan was to possess the football...
