PLAYERS: Von Miller
TEAMS: Denver Broncos
The onion that resulted in Broncos linebacker Von Miller’s six-game suspension may have additional pungent layers. Per a league source the Miami-based sample collector who reportedly conspired with Miller to allow the Pro Bowler to pass drug tests may have done the same with others. Potential culprits include players who spend their offseasons in Miami and particularly those who may have skipped their team’s offseason programs to work out in South Florida. If a player shows up for the offseason program they’re no longer subject to the jurisdiction of the Miami-based collector. (Unless they play for the Dolphins.)

Von Miller and a urine collector tried to cheat drug test

Von Miller was unsuccessful in an attempt to cheat the NFL’s drug testing system. Miller with the help of a urine collector submitted a diluted sample that registered as positive resulting in a 4 game suspension for the Broncos’ star pass rusher. The plan was to submit another person’s urine specimen to the tester and it may have worked had Miller not been in another city at...

Things continue to get worse for Broncos star linebacker Von Miller, and the newest bit of information to be released points a different picture of his character. ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Miller tried to cheat and beat his drug test with help from the urine collector hired by the NFL to collect player’s samples. Broncos LB Von Miller tried to beat drug-testing procedures...

NFL: State of the League in Week 3

EA Sports Twitter Page (@eamaddennfl) Three weeks in and what do we know. Is any one unbeatable? Are there any 1-15 teams? How should it all unfold? With maybe one or two exceptional exceptions it still is anyone’s league, especially when you factor in that those exceptions are no guarantees and that they are not that highly favored above the rest. The disparity in the league...

Demaryius Thomas to the Raiders: “Ha ha, you suck” (Video)

After their scoring their final touchdown of tonight’s loss to the Broncos,  the Raiders attempted an onside kick, which of course failed. Denver receiver Demaryius Thomas recovered the kick and then said, ” Ha ha, you suck.” It certainly seems like he was talking to the Raiders.   Need NFL Tickets? Loading... Report: Von Miller Worked With Urine Collector to Cheat NFL’s Drug Testing Program

Von Miller is now halfway through his six-game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy, but his crimes might have been even worse than that. Miller, 24, tested positive for a banned substance during the offseason, which prompted the NFL to suspend him for four games, but he also tried to corrupt the NFL’s drug testing policy, according to ESPN. The Broncos...

Get Ready For Week 3 with News, Notes, and Stats

Knowshon Moreno is clearly the leader of the pack in the Broncos’ backfield according to John Fox.  With Ryan Clady OUT for the season, Moreno has even more value as the best pass protecting RB on the team.  With match ups that include Oak, Phi, Dal, Jac, Ind, and Was, Moreno could be a top 15-20 guy for the next 7 weeks. Jay Gruden has stated that he will get Gio Bernard more...

Adam Schefter takes on the JUGS machine, gets knocked off his feet

When newspaper beat writers become national voices and/or NFL insiders, the spotlight grows considerably. My point is that when ESPN's Adam Schefter, who has really become the leading insider in the football world, was covering the Denver Broncos for the Rocky Mountain News over a decade ago, he probably didn't envision himself one day imitating Ray Lewis' dance for a...
