Two high-profile players were missing from the Miami Dolphins' voluntary team practices on Wednesday, albeit for very different reasons.Mike Wallace, who was signed to a massive free-agent contract this offseason, missed the practice to attend to a family emergency, according to The Miami Herald. Wallace has attended all of Miami's offseason programs so far, and per his policy, Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin declined to comment on his star wide receiver's absence when speaking to reporters afterwards. Also missing was defensive tackle Randy Starks, who has sat out of all of the team's workouts due to his contract situation. Starks was set to hit free agency earlier this year, but was given the franchise tag by Miami. The former Pro Bowl defensive lineman signed his tender, but is hoping the two sides can reach an agreement on a long term deal. If they fail to do so before July 15, Starks will play for $8.45 million this season and be an unrestricted free agent in 2014.Follow Sean @se...
