CLEVELAND -- Cornerback Walter Thurmond suffered a broken left leg in the second quarter of Sunday's game.Coach Pete Carroll indicated after the game Thurmond is lost for the year.Thurmond, a second-year corner, was starting in place of Marcus Trufant, who was placed on injured reserve earlier this week because of a back injury.Rookie Richard Sherman replaced Thurmond at left cornerback in the second half with Kennard Cox coming in as the fifth defensive back in the nickel defense. Seattle can activate cornerback Roy Lewis off the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list before its next game.
