Giants running back Danny Ware’s season didn’t get off to a very good start. The third-year pro suffered a dislocated elbow while returning the opening kickoff. He was immediately taken to the locker room for X-Rays and the Giants have announced he’s done for the game. With Ware out, the Giants are down to only two running backs - - Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw. As previously noted, they’re already short-handed on the offensive line (only seven players dressed) and in the defensive backfield (six players). The injury to Ware is the second injury to a Giants running back since training camp began. Earlier they lost promising rookie Andre Brown, their fourth-round pick, for the season when he suffered a torn Achilles during a training camp practice.
