Dallas Cowboys linebacker is not on pace to break the NFL's single-season sack record. Ware is set to shatter it. With 12 sacks so far on the season, Ware is on pace for 27 sacks this year, far eclipsing Michael Strahan's record of 22.5 sacks in 2001. But Ware is more concerned with helping the Cowboys win, and if the record happens to fall, even better. "As a pass-rusher, you're always aware of what you have but you just don't talk about it," Ware said, according to The Dallas Morning News. "You just get out there and keep working. At the end of the season, you just hope that you are where you need to be." Ware finished Sunday's game against Philadelphia with four sacks. Seattle enters the game Sunday against Dallas having given up an NFL-high 28 sacks and a league-high tying 63 quarterback hits this season. Stas like that should have Ware and Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan salivating at the chance to put pressure on Tavaris Jackson. And Seattle head coach Pete Carroll knows they have to be ready for Ware at all times Sunday. "He's very much a problem and the kind of guy you have to have a mindfulness throughout the game plan because he can strike you at any time," Carroll said.
