Warren Sapp in an NFL.com podcast took shots at Bucs head coach Greg Schiano. “If I’m down in Tampa, I’m questioning this whole thing because it’s a mafia style,” Sapp said. “I know [Mike] Glennon is not the quarterback that Josh Freeman is. There’s no question about it. The film tells me this. Practice tells me this. Even my quarterback demeanor tells me this. If you wouldn’t let [Freeman] throw the ball at the end of the game, why is Glennon throwing the ball at the end of the game?-JoeBucsFan.com Sapp went on to question Schiano’s use of Darrelle Revis among other things. Warren Sapp is scheduled to be inducted in to the Bucs ring of honor in a little over a month, but that doesn’t stop Sapp from calling out his former team. Sapp has always been out spoken and has bashed both his former teams (Bucs and Raiders) in the past. In my opinion most of the time Warren Sapp just talks to hear himself talk. There was a reason Greg Schiano was hired in Tampa and I’m sure there were reasons...

  • As an Italian I take offense to Sapp's racial stereotypical comment. If it was said by a white TV commentator, for example Mike Tomlin is running the Steelers 'gangsta" style he's lose his job and endorsements. The image I remember is Sapp yelling at Jon Gruden on the sidelines for Gramatica to kick a field goal. Never in 50 years of watching football have I ever seen a player with his gall influencing a coach.
  • I agree Mr. sapp owes every italian an apology, publicly. He also has shown he is a racist, which would not be accepted by any black group if any other race had made a derogatory remark. He should also look at what hes done with his life.
  • Warren Sapp has a BIG mouth, BIG eyes, BIG head looks like a frog.
  • The previous comments never mentioned Italians. He mentioned an organized crime group. Is it the previous comentators opinion that all Italians are in the Mafia? That seems more racist. I am white, not a racist & agree with Warren Sapp.
  • check your history,. the word MAFIA was,is and will be a referance to italians that stated in Sicily, not accepting that is like saying all black panthers are not black

Warren Sapp Says Greg Schiano Needs to Change His Coaching Style

Schiano isn’t going to change, but you can’t say this isn’t sound advice from Sapp. “If you wouldn’t let [Josh Freeman] throw the ball at the end of the game, why is [Mike] Glennon throwing the ball at the end of the game? Why is [Darrelle] Revis standing eight yards off [Larry] Fitzgerald running a slant route and nobody’s there? Touchdown! Are you kidding me? Let...

Talkin' about Darrelle Revis working on DeSean Jackson...

A lot of folks are fascinated with the idea of All-Pro cover corner Darrelle Revis being matched up against mighty mite wideout DeSean Jackson in the upcoming game between the Eagles and Tampa Bay... Personally, I'm more focused on the Bucs' big defensive tackle, the speedy-quick 6-4, 300-pound Gerald McCoy, who can literally dominate a line and take over the game at...
