Washington Redskins DB Domonique Johnson was absolutely leveled by Dallas Cowboys LB Kyle Wilber on this play.  It looked clean at first, but when it is slowed down, you can see that there is some helmet-to-helmet contact.  It was good to see Johnson get up right away, and hopefully he won’t experience any lasting effects from this crushing blow.GIF via: @cjzero

Tony Romo ready to make a new reputation for himself as the Dallas Cowboys march towards the playoffs

Let's start with the obvious: when these Dallas and Washington teams met on Thanksgiving, the Cowboys were undermanned on offense. They had fill-ins working on the offensive line, lost Miles Austin early and were without DeMarco Murray. In the games final 20 minutes offense was hardly the problem as Dallas rallied to draw the game close but as Washington was pulling out to a...

Romo simply just not good enough

LANDOVER, Md. There was a time when a game like Sunday would not have weighed so heavily on Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, where this 28-18 loss to The Redskins that ended their season and sent Washington the playoffs would have been explained away. This is the guy who, somewhat infamously, declared that "if this is the worst thing that ever happens to me, I will have lived...

Mike Shanahan says Kyle Shanahan will have to wait until the offseason to interview for HC jobs

During his press conference on Monday, Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan said his son, offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan won’t interview for any head coaching jobs until once their season is over now that they’re in the playoffs.“At least my opinion, at least this is my feeling when I was an assistant, it’s not time to interview during the season,” Mike Shanahan said...

Tony Romo Throws Three Picks, Dallas Fans Are Not Happy (Video)

It's pretty easy to blame all your football teams faults on your quarterback and get away with it.  This time around it was true though.  Tony Romo is absolutely pathetic under pressure.  The guy proves it year after year.  Yes, he's a risk taker like Brett Favre, but he doesn't have any of the upside that Favre did.  Just need to let the man go.  Heard he was...

Redskins Announce Their Inactives For Regular-Season Finale Vs Dallas

Redskins strong safety Dejone Gomes is out and will be replaced by the duo of Reed Doughty and Jordan Pugh. Right tackle Tyler Polumbus (concussion) is active after being cleared late in the week. The only notable item about the Redskins' inactive lists is that Rex Grossman is dressed as the No. 3 quarterback behind Robert Griffin and Kirk Cousins. The entire list of inactives...

Cowboys' season ends with loss to Redskins

LANDOVER, Md. (AP) -- RG3 and the Washington Redskins are NFC East champions. Robert Griffin III ran for a touchdown, and fellow rookie Alfred Morris rushed for 200 yards and three scores Sunday night as the Redskins won their first division title in 13 years by beating the Dallas Cowboys 28-18. The Redskins are 10-6 and will host the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday, having won seven...

Jason Garrett Declines To Say If Rob Ryan Will Return But Expresses Confidence In Him

Jason Garrett stopped short of saying Monday at his press conference that Rob Ryan would return as defensive coordinator next year. But he said he has a lot of confidence in Ryan, who had “a real challenge” this year because of injuries. “If you think about the number of guys we lost on defense – starting, marquee players who are just simply out – and the other guys who are...

Tony Romo: “I let the team down”

Same song, just another verse. Tony Romo and his Dallas Cowboys entered the final week of the season with a chance to make the postseason and failed. There are plenty of reasons and enough excuses to go around. All those injuries going into the game. All those injuries during the game. Pulled muscles and broken bones spread through the ranks of this Cowboys team in 2012 like the...
