The Washington Redskins failed to pull the trigger, and have once again missed out on a talented wide receiver which would have improved the Redskins team significantly. T.J. Houshmandzadeh. Houshmandzadeh was available as a free agent for over 30 hours and he signed this afternoon with the Baltimore Ravens, a team stock piling weapons on the offensive side of the ball. The same can’t be said for the Washington Redskins. The Redskins did go out and trade for a quality quarterback in Donovan McNabb, but they did little to surround him with any offensive weapons. The Washington Redskins enter 2010 with 31 year old Santana Moss playing opposite soon to be 39 year old WR Joey Galloway. For a team which is willing to sign veterans, (see Willie Parker and Larry Johnson) and overpay players (see Albert Haynesworth among others) why didn’t the Redskins pursue Houshmandzadeh as a receiver? Why not plug him in as a number two receiver, and then alternate Joey Galloway and Anthony ...

  • This just proves how lame Shanahan is and dont expect the skins to make the playoffs this year.If this is all you got then you bench galloway and start moss, armstrong and believe it or not Brandon Banks.Just to spread things out.God I hope the play calling this season dosent turn out like i think our receivers will.Old and slow.
