As we continue the Team Needs series for the 2013 NFL Draft, we proceed to the only team without a first round pick; the Washington Redskins. I wanted to do this series in draft order, but it would just be rude to ignore the Redskins, so I’ll include them here at their original pick location that is now owed to St. Louis for the rights to Robert Griffin III last draft.
While it was a fun ride that probably saved Mike Shanahan’s job as head coach, the final game of the season in the playoffs have many Redskins faithful ready to run him out of town. A team that looked ready to be an NFC contender next season now doesn’t know if their star quarterback will be ready to start the season after tearing his his ACL and LCL. Regardless, here is what I think the Redskins will do in the draft to set up his return, whenever it is.
Offensive Line
Robert Griffin III might not be as mobile when he comes back as he was prior to his devastating injury. Therefore, upgrading some of the average parts...

In what was thought o be around $121 million, the NFL salary cap has been set at $123 million for the 2013 season, much to the relief of some cap-strapped teams, reports Ian Rapaport of the NFL.com.
The jump gives just a bit more wiggle room for some teams, but it's the little things that count in the long run. There will also be a per team minimum salary benefit of $900...

Cowboys Fan Names Baby After RGIII
Tip of the day: If you make a bet involving the fate of your unborn child, be 100% sure you can win it.
That advice is too little too late for Marissa Pena, a pregnant Cowboys fan. After losing a bet she made with her boyfriend, a diehard Washington Redskins fan, she’ll now be forced to give her child the same name as her sworn enemy, Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III. ...
Fantasy Forecast: Take a Knee on RG3
Take a Knee on RG3
Hollywood could not have scripted the start of Robert Griffin III’s career any better. Averaging 267 passing yards, 63 rushing yards and two TDs per game for an average of 30 fantasy points, RGIII did not only lead QBs, he led all fantasy players in fantasy points scored after four weeks. The first time anyone questioned RG3 in fantasy football was during week...
