Watch: Aaron Rodgers opens up about darkness retreat in podcast promo

Aaron Rodgers is going to open up about his darkness retreat on a new podcast.

According to a promo from Aubrey Marcus, the four-time MVP sat down with the CEO of Onnit, a "globally disruptive brand based on a holistic health philosophy" to discuss his recent darkness retreat as well as the prospect of retiring from football.

"A lot of great contemplation around how I show up in the world," Rodgers explained of his darkness retreat, per the promo. "I spent parts of a couple of the days imagining what it would be like to retire and then imagining what it would be like to continue to play."

This will without a doubt be a fascinating interview from Rodgers, who has been on Marcus' podcast before. It's worth noting that Marcus and Rodgers had in-depth conversations about ayahuasca, a plant-based psychedelic that Rodgers has admitted to using in the offseason to bring himself clarity in his life. Notably, he credited the plant with helping him win two straight MVPs in 2020 and 2021.

It's also worth noting that Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst spoke at the NFL Scouting Combine on Tuesday, saying that "all options are on the table," regarding Rodgers' future.
