Watch: Browns fans hold field goal kicking tryouts on Bourbon Street
Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

At this point, we’re all Cleveland Browns fans right now. Following Sunday’s loss to the New Orleans Saints, the Browns have not won a game since New Year’s Eve of 2016. Their last win on a Sunday came back in December of 2015.

The team’s latest loss came after since-released kicker Zane Gonzalez missed two field goals and two extra-point attempts in what was ultimately a three-point defeat.

Sure the Browns have signed free agent Greg Joseph since, but that didn’t stop fans of the long-downtrodden franchise to hold tryouts for new kickers on Bourbon Street in New Orleans following the loss.

It’s an absolute thing of beauty.

We’re pretty sure there was some liquid courage involved here. When in Rome, right?

Unfortunately for Browns fans the world over, the kicker they signed connected on less than 70 percent of his college attempts.

About that liquid courage, again?
