Houston Texans superstar J.J. Watt has done so much more off the field than he was able to do on it during the 2017 season. He’s a finalist for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award, thanks to his monumental efforts helping raise over $37 million to help in the Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

Watt has already helped some folks move into their homes after they were destroyed by the devastation. On Friday, he passed along an emotional video of a family he helped move back into their home of more than 45 years.

“I just want to say thank you to everybody that helping me and my wife get back in our sanctuary,” Mr. Leonard said. “Because after 6 months, I’ve learned a lot. By not being in the house … I’ve lived here, I’ve lived there, and it’s nothing like home.”

Watt suffered a season-ending injury early in the 2017 campaign, but he has remained a hot item in the news for all his work helping folks out.

Because of this, the Texans star was ranked 53rd on SNIPdaily’s NFL Top 100 during the 2017 calendar year, ahead of a handful of the league’s top coaches and right behind Denver Broncos superstar pass rusher, Von Miller.
