Watch: Ravens QB Lamar Jackson throws wild 30-yard TD to Zay Flowers

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is showing why he should win MVP for the second time in his career in the AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

On a first-and-10 at the Kansas City 30-yard line, the 2019 NFL MVP launched a deep ball to rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers for a 30-yard TD, tying the game at 7-7 with 4:58 remaining in the first quarter. Jackson also had a 21-yard run on a fourth-and-1 that set up the TD.

Jackson is one of the best QBs in the league, yet postseason success has eluded him. He has yet to make a Super Bowl appearance and holds a 2-32-3 record in the playoffs.

However, he's quelling his skeptics this postseason. In a 34-10 divisional-round victory over the Houston Texans, Jackson became the first QB since 1948 with at least two passing TDs, two rushing TDs, 100 rushing yards and a 100 passer rating.

With the AFC title game nearing halftime, Jackson has completed 2-of-4 passes for 39 yards and has two carries for 23 yards.
