Broncos’ Brock Osweiler victim of unfair stereotype

Who says that a tall quarterback can’t be successful in the NFL? It seems to go against logic that having height like the Denver Broncos’ Brock Osweiler would be a detriment to his success as a quarterback. Osweiler is 6’7” which makes it much easier for him to see over the defense compared to the average quarterback who normally stands about 6’2”. On top of that, he...

Broncos’ Ty Warren refusing to take pay cut

Recently, the Broncos approach two defensive linemen — Kevin Vickerson and Ty Warren — about accepting a pay cut. Vickerson promptly complied, slashing his 2012 salary from $2.125 million to $1.2 million, ultimately saving himself from the chopping block. Warren, on the other hand, hasn’t been so cooperative. The Denver Post reports the Broncos would like to reduce Warren...

Manning Hype Setting up Denver Broncos for a Letdown

I have a question for you: How many games would you predict the Denver Broncos to win this year if Matt Ryan was their quarterback?  You could argue that Ryan played on a more talented team last season than the Denver Broncos, yet went one and done in the postseason tourney. Why Matt Ryan, you [...]

Elway couldn't pass on Manning's heir apparent

John Elway says he had to ''sacrifice the short term for the long term'' when he used a second-round pick on Arizona State quarterback Brock Osweiler rather than drafting a player who could help Peyton Manning right away. The boss of the Denver Broncos was joined by coach John Fox in an hour-long conference call with 6,000 season ticket holders Tuesday. A caller...

Ty Warren unwilling to take a pay cut from the Broncos

Photo by the Denver Post According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, Denver Broncos defensive tackle Ty Warren is unwilling to take a pay cut and accept around $1.5 million this season opposed to the $4 million he’s scheduled to make. Warren is 31 years-old and has been riddled with injuries over the past two seasons.  I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up getting released at some point.

Chiefs CB Brandon Flowers Not Too Worried About Peyton Manning And Broncos

Ever since Peyton Manning joined the Denver Broncos, the rest of the AFC West has been mentioned as an afterthought by many onlookers. After all, if last year's 8-8 squad won the division and a playoff game without Manning, it should only improve with the four-time MVP under center.
