Are you concerned that Brandon Tate is still being strongly considered to be the #2 wideout for the Bengals this fall? From all reports it sounds like Tate is quickly becoming a threat on offense. Special thanks to Stephen Reid of BengalsNorth.com and the Host of The Batereid Show Podcast for guest hosting this week. It was also great to catch up with a fellow Man of Moeller, Paul Dehner of CBSSports.com.

The Cincinnati Bengals know a thing or two about drafting top talent at the wide receiver position and now Mohamed Sanu could be the latest rookie to impress fans on Sunday’s. Sanu joins the Bengals in the middle of an ongoing search for a No. 2 receiver opposite second year star A.J. Green. Dan Hoard of Bengals.com wrote how impressed with [...]
Today I want to consider the career trajectory of a more established player, Leon Hall. I was going to limit this series to younger players, and Hall is going into his 6th year in the league. But I kept coming back to Leon because of the diversity of opinion about him. Some consider him a terrific corner, while others think that he is nothing special. So let’s have some fun and...
The Cincinnati Bengals angered a good number of fans during the first round when they passed on Stanford offensive guard David DeCastro, allowing him to slide to their arch nemeses, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Instead of going after DeCastro, they decided to trade down from pick 21 to pick 27 and select Wisconsin guard Kevin Zeitler. Many questioned the move at the time, but the Bengals...
With the news coming from PBS slowing down until the start of training camp, I thought it might be fun to playing an expectation game involving the young marquee players on the roster. The game is simple. Get out your looking glass and tell us how you think the current player will stack up against the best in the team’s history once his career is done. Will he be the best we have...
Bengals veteran cornerback Leon Hall, recovering from a torn Achilles he suffered in last November's matchup against the Steelers, expects to return in time for training camp. After missing out on his second trip to the playoffs last season, Hall is eager to get back to work. He recently joined Cincinnati radio personality, Mo Egger, on 1530 Homer to talk about his recovery...
The Cincinnati Bengals have not been known as the best-run organization in sports, but this is just downright odd: Cincinnati has not offered their head coach Marvin Lewis a new contract who has one-year remaining.
The reason it is so odd is because last summer the Bengals were a big mess. They had released loud mouth wide receiver Chad Ochocinco and quarterback Carson Palmer refused...
According to Geoff Hobson of CincinnatiBengals.com, there’s some optimism within the Bengals organization that cornerback Leon Hall will be ready to go for training camp after tearing his Achilles in 2011.
Hall has been an outstanding corner for the Bengals since being drafted in 2007. Before he tore his Achilles last season, he recorded 32 tackles and 2 interceptions...
The Bengals’ need for a #2 WR is well known. While there are a number of candidates for the job, some of whom may turn out to be legitimate options, a proven threat would comfort and excite fans even more for the upcoming season. Just such a threat could be coming on the market.
PFT’s Michael David Smith reported this morning that Percy Harvin is requesting a trade out of Minnesota...
The AFC North has three head coaches that have taken their teams to the playoffs and another head coach that showed signs of growth throughout a turbulent season.
1) Marvin Lewis, Cincinnati Bengals
A coach with a career record of 69-77-1 doesn’t seem like a likely candidate to top the list of head coaches in the AFC North.
However, Lewis’ ability to pull off successful...
The Cincinnati Bengals waived rookie running back Rodney Stewart with an injury settlement.
Stewart suffered a knee injury during a rookie mini-camp on May 11.
It was nine days after the Bengals signed the undrafted free agent.
Paul Brown Stadium.
Ohio State is looking at what Brown can do for the school. Paul Brown Stadium, that is.
Ohio Stadium is scheduled to undergo renovations after the end of the 2012 college football season. The problem? It apparently won't be ready for the Buckeyes' 2013 spring game. The solution? Move the game to Paul Brown Stadium, home to the Cincinnati Bengals...
According to multiple reports, the Raiders have shown interest in bringing veteran RB Cedric Benson in with the possibility of signing him to a contract. Benson, 29, has a lot of milage but is a big, strong back which may fit a need for the Raiders. He's thought of being a better fit in power scheme than the zone blocking scheme that the Raiders run.
On the surface, this...
Earlier today, the Ohio State Department of Athletics leaked out a memo that pertained to the ongoing negotiations between Ohio State, the Cincinnati Bengals and Hamilton County officials on the possibility of the Buckeyes playing their 2013 spring football game at Paul Brown Stadium. The reason for the move...
