Found September 19, 2012 on WhoDeyFans:

Uh, what the hell is going on out there defense? 430 yards to the Ravens, OK. But 439 to the Browns? Are you for real? Where is the defensive line? Where are the LB’s? You call that a secondary? How you guys managed to win this game is beyond me, oh yeah our pal Adam Jones bailed us out with a sweet punt return. Hey DEFENSE, RGIII is up next. You MIGHT want to try this week. Just sayin.

In this week’s show:

Wow, did the defense make the Browns look good

BJGE averaging just 3.6 yards per carry, not going to cut it

Dalton with 3 TD’s, Tate, Green and Youngbabyhawk (how awesome was that?) scoring on some big plays for the O.

So the Bengals task this week is to stop RGIII and the Redskins. Good luck. Better get those oxygen tanks ready.

Good news is that Carlos Dunlap and Bernard Scott are back healthy

Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh were a match made in heaven

Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh were a wide receiver tandem for the Cincinnati Bengals that complimented each other in a way that has not been seen in a long time. Johnson and Houshmandzadeh combined for 16,565 yards and 137 touchdowns during their tenure in Cincinnati, but there individual merits together, did not match how much they truly needed each other on the field. Johnson...

Vontaze Burfict competing for starting job at strong-side linebacker

The Cincinnati Bengals gave Vontaze Burfict his first taste of NFL action on Sunday against the Browns. He was originally expected to start in place of the injured Thomas Howard, but the Bengals opened up in a nickel package so he ended up coming off the bench and playing 22 snaps at strong-side linebacker. Despite reports prior to the game that Burfict would be the Bengals starter...

Cincinnati's Hawkins proving doubters wrong

CINCINNATI - After a tryout with the Cleveland Browns in the spring of 2008 didn't lead to a contract, Andrew Hawkins went to work. He caddied at a high-dollar country club. He worked at a factory that made windmill engines. He volunteered with the University of Toledo football team and the school's athletic marketing department, and he served an internship with the Detroit...

Cincinnati Bengals at Washington Redskins: Week 3 NFL Pick

Cincinnati Bengals (1-1) at Washington Redskins (1-1) Before the season, I identified 5 overrated and 5 underrated teams, with the idea of betting on them (or against them) until they proved me wrong or the odds makers caught up. This served me well as I’m 10-4 this year on games involving those 10 teams  (and one of those losses is because I abandoned shipped on the Bills after...

Week Two Hit List

That breeze that blew through Bengaldom this week wasn’t a tornado, but a collective sigh of relief as the team managed to—just barely—beat an outmanned and outgunned Browns squad at PBS in the home opener.  The Bengals were able to win the game while allowing rookie Brandon Weeden to put up 322 yards passing, and making rookie running back Trent Richardson look like Jim...

Cincinnati Bengals at Washington Redskins NFL Week 3 Preview

Jeff Curry US Presswire If you enjoy seeing a ton of points scored, then this matchup is just for you. Robert Griffin III is going bonkers in the early stages of his rookie season and he is doing it with mid-level talent around him. Week 2 Fantasy Football Recap: Cleveland Browns vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Cleveland Browns – 27, Cincinnati Bengals – 34What do you know, Brandon Weeden (328 total yards, 2 TDs) actually showed there’s hope yet for the Browns offense, getting his first 300 yard game of the year and keeping the Browns close throughout.  Of course, maybe this is an indictment of the Bengals defense, so don’t go overboard in picking Weeden off your free agent scrap...
