Webster gets 5K for fighting

Giants CB Corey Webster, who was a little embarrassed about his fight with Redskins WR Santana Moss during the Giants’ first game last week, is now a little poorer, too. Both Webster and Moss were fined $5,000 each for unnecessary roughness and “striking his opponent in the head area,” according to an NFL spokesman. Washington S LaRon Landry was also fined $5,000 for unnecessary roughness and for hitting Giants RB Brandon Jacobs out of bounds at the end of a 15-yard run in the first quarter.
