Week 11 is here and for many of us this means our final three weeks of the regular season and our final chance to make a push for the fantasy playoffs.

Folks that started Andre Carter last week were handsomely rewarded. Carter managed an unthinkable 4.5 sacks and a mind-boggling 8 QB hits. Will he keep it up this week? I think he will. He will not come anywhere near last week’s effort, but I expect Carter to still remain a top-10 play this week. He is currently listed 7th in the Week 11 IDP DL Rankings.

Also, make sure you get Julius Peppers in your lineup over any DL not named Jared Allen. Peppers will face a SD OL that was destroyed last week by Kamerion Wimbley. Expect more of the same out of Peppers.

Lastly, I would still start Jeremy Mincey. He has a tough matchup against Joe Thomas, but Mincey has been performing and will work non-stop. He should gather a bunch of tackles in run support as well.

Peppers should play vs. depleted S.D.

Pro Bowl defensive end Julius Peppers, nursing a tender knee, looked ‘‘good and fresh’’ in practice Thursday, according to defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli, and is expected to play Sunday against the San Diego Chargers. Considering the state of the Chargers’ offensive line, Peppers would likely get out of traction to play. The Chargers are expected to be without three...

Drew Sharp claiming the Lions whine and complain doesn't make it true

I saw the following passage in today's Freep. I'll give you one guess as to which hack columnist wrote this tripe. "You could say the same thing with Julius Peppers' play," Schwartz said. "I mean, Julius Peppers goes in to attack Calvin. I mean, Calvin is 7-feet tall (and) Peppers is the same way. That's a basketball game between those two guys, but...

2011 Fantasy Football, Week 11 Defense Rankings: Julius Peppers To Wreak Havoc On Chargers

Julius Peppers (Credits Below) 1. Chicago Bears (SD) - The Bears last week looked like the kind of defense that led them to the Super Bowl XLI. They completely shut down Stafford and the Lions and scored 3 DST touchdowns in the process. They’ve done a better job of putting Julius Peppers in a position to have an impact. Philip Rivers has been nothing short of terrible...

Bears DE Julius Peppers has been a force the past month, due to the creative manner in which he’s been deployed. It’s safe to say Chicago will continue to shift him along the defensive line.

Four Downs: Keys to beating the Chargers (11/20/11)

Philip Rivers leads the league with 15 interceptions, has lost four fumbles, and has been the third-most sacked quarterback (25) this year. A look at four keys for the Bears to beat the San Diego Chargers. 1. Run the football Last week, the Lions did a good job of game planning for Matt Forte and they cut off the outside lanes where the Bears have been so effective running the football...

The Bears’ stars are shining bright

The Bears have three potential Hall of Famers in Julius Peppers, Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs playing as well as ever. Their next three best players --- Jay Cutler, Matt Forte and, yes, Charles Tillman --- are also having career-type years, and that’s not even taking Devin Hester into consideration. A team with its six best players playing at a high level is dangerous. If you...
