Found November 20, 2012 on Razzball Football:
No more bye weeks!  This is great news for everyone whose team isn’t riddled with injuries.  QBs seem to be dropping like flies with concussions and other assortments of injuries, but for some teams (Jacksonville, I’m looking at you), that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Seriously, if you predicted Chad Henne could come into a game against The Texans and throw 4 TDs for 350+ yards, there’s a research lab in some underground government facility that is tracking your location as you’re reading this.  If you went on to predict Matt Schaub would do even better, RUN NOW! Mike Mularkey has already announced Chad Henne will start week 12 in Jacksonville so this might be a good time to jump aboard the Chad Henne train, at least for one week.  The Jaguars host The Titans for what is sure to be the least watched game in the NFL this weekend.  Both teams have defenses that are almost as bad as their offenses, but they are also both capable of lighting up the scoreboard as both have done in resp...

Coach: Henne could win starter's job

Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey said that if quarterback Chad Henne performs well over the remaining games this season, he will be the presumed starter heading into 2013.

Chad Henne could be the Jaguars’ starter heading into 2013

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey made it clear that if quarterback Chad Henne plays well during the final six games of the regular season, he’ll likely be their starting heading into next season. Mularkey says if Henne plays well over final 6 games, he will be starter going into next season. #Jaguars — Mark Long (@APMarkLong) November 21, 2012 It doesn’t look...

Chad Henne to start for Jaguars against Titans

Chad Henne has been promoted to the role of Jacksonville Jaguars starting quarterback for the upcoming game against the Tennessee Titals. Henne replaced an injured Blain Gabbert (eblow) and kept Jacksonville in the game against Houston on Sunday. The Jaguars ultimately lost 43-37 in overtime. In the contest, Henne went 16-of-33 passing for 354 yards and four touchdowns. There had...

Mularkey names Henne starting QB

Jacksonville Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey said Monday that Chad Henne is the starting quarterback, according to the Florida Times-Union. Henne, who took over for injured starter Blaine Gabbert early Sunday against the Houston Texans, will start the Jaguars' next game against the Tennessee Titans. Gabbert left in the first quarter with a bruised right elbow. He was injured...

Jaguars plan on starting Chad Henne next week

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey told the media on Monday that he plans on starting Chad Henne at quarterback over Blaine Gabbert, who’s questionable with an elbow injury. Henne came into yesterday’s game and racked up 354 yards and 4 touchdowns in an overtime loss to the Texans.   var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script...

Henne could take the Jaguars on a run

With Blaine Gabbert now on IR, ending his season, the focus of the Jaguars and its fans now shifts to Chad Henne. Henne provided the best offensive production we've seen from a Jaguars quarterback since the David Garrard era, and he did it against one of the NFL's best defensive units. It's safe to say that the Texans didn't expect the Jaguars to go vertical on...

Pick Him Back Up: Justin Blackmon

I wanted to wait until my ownership dipped below 50% Juan… Who would of thought that Chad Henne would breathe life into the Jaguars passing attack? Blackmon had almost as many yards yesterday than he did the entire year prior 250-236 and looked like a completely different WR. Can he keep it up? That’s the question. Blackmon has a very beatable schedule with the Titans, Bills...

Houston Texans Slip By Chad Henne and the Jaguars in OT

The final score was 43-37.  The Jacksonville Jaguars went into Reliant Stadium and held their own.  The Jaguars continued the road show, playing their opponents' hard.  You need proof?  Check out linebackers Paul Posluszny face in the fourth quarter.  With blood clouding his face and four stitches in his forehead, Posluszny and the defense did not lay down for the Texans...

Backup quarterbacks are useful in evaluating young guns

This weekend, the Houston Texans nearly dropped a game to one of the worst teams in the NFL. It was an offensive shootout with little defense to speak of from either team, and the Texans emerged from overtime with the victory. The other story line that came from the Texans near-miss was the possible end of the Blaine Gabbert era in Jacksonville. After leaving the game early with...

Jacksonville Jaguars: Week 12 NFL Power Rankings (#32)

Last week: 32 (+0) Record: 1-9 It’s still neck and neck for them and the Chiefs. I don’t know if it really matters. They both suck. I think it will take one team winning to show any separation between them and I don’t see that happening. Gabbert has been put on IR with elbow and forearm problems, but it really just seems like a convenient way for Mike Mularkey to get Chad Henne...

The With Leather Fantasy Football Support Group: Pick Your Poison For Week 11

My favorite part of this past fantasy football Sunday was a Tweet from ESPN’s resident guy who points out the obvious, Darren Rovell, about Jacksonville Jaguars QB Chad Henne only being owned in .5% of ESPN fantasy leagues. Well, no sh*t, Sherlock. If you were in my league and you had Henne on your bench, you’d either have to be the biggest Jags homer on the planet or every QB...

Jaguars place Blaine Gabbert on injuried reserve

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert’s season is over. The team placed the second year player on injured reserve following a forearm and shoulder injury that occurred in a game against Houston on Nov. 19. Chad Henne, who took over following the injury, will quarterback the team for the rest of the season. Henne finished the game with 354 yards passing to go with four...

Kansas City Chiefs: Week 12 NFL Power Rankings (#31)

Last week: 31 (+0) Record: 1-9 I used to think the Chiefs were better than the Jaguars, but I don’t really think there’s any difference between the two now that Brady Quinn is going to be the Chiefs’ starting quarterback; in fact, the Jaguars might even be better if Chad Henne can establish himself as clearly better than Gabbert (he had a great game last week, but he’s known...
