I said most of what I wanted to say here, so I'm going to make this a short preview/game thread. I would just like to say that if the Hawks can win one game the rest of the season, I need it to be this one.
I have too many friends who are die hard Cowboys fans to lose to them ever again. We got them good in 2007, not necessarily on the field but in the humiliation ranks. However, I need to make this even more humiliating. Here's my perfect scenario:
The Hawks are down by one with no timeouts and 20 seconds left, and the Cowboys are on their own 4. Tony Romo takes the snap and tries to kneel down to end the game, but instead he slips on the turf and drops the ball. Terrell Owens picks it up after some confusion, but instead of just going down he tries to run for a touchdown.
He almost gets there, but then he looks at the Jumbotron and, shocked by how old he looks, drops the ball and runs sobbing into the locker room. The Seahawks pick it up on the 1 and do a Cal style (or Trinity style) lateral play which ends with Brandon Mebane bowling through a emotionally and physically destroyed Tony Romo to get in the end zone.
While the Seahawks (and the world) celebrate, Jessica Simpson runs out on the field to console her boyfriend. In the confusion, Adam "don't call me Pacman" Jones steals Jessica's purse and runs into the stands. This is how I want the game to end. You heard it here first. It's the only way for it to be more humiliating than this.
Game Picks TEN over DETPHI over ARI (upset of the week)BUF over SFBAL over CININD over CLECAR over GBMIA over STLTB over NONYG over WASATL over SDPIT over NENYJ over DENOAK over KCCHI over MINHOU over JAXSEA over DAL, 27-21 in the greatest, most humiliating finish in football history. You can get all our articles for free in your inbox with the latest Seattle Sports' news.
