Found December 02, 2012 on Seahawk Addicts:
The Seahawks entered this week in control of a wild card berth, and they held on to it today with a road win against the Bears.  At times, it seemed like overthrows, bad calls, and Cutler-to-Marshall were going to conspire to drop Seattle to 6-6, but in the end the offense got it done. And you know what?  At the end of the fourth quarter, with the game on the line and the ball in Wilson's hands, I was surprised at how much confidence I had that the Seahawks could drive the length of the field for a touchdown.  I don't think I've felt like that about a Seattle offense since Hasselbeck's last pro bowl season in 2007. Enjoy the win in the comments below.

Seahawks may reportedly restructure Kam Chancellor’s contract this coming offseason

According to ProFootballWeekly.com, one of the Seattle Seahawks’ main priorities this offseason will be restructuring safety Kam Chencellor’s contract. Before the Seahawks seriously consider re-signing any upcoming free agents such as DLs Jason Jones and Alan Branch, we hear a bigger priority could be restructuring a new contract for Pro Bowl SS Kam Chancellor. The third-year...

Report: Richard Sherman's appeal set for Dec. 14

Dec. 14 is the date that's been set for Richard Sherman's appeal of his four-game suspension for alleged use is performance-enhancing drugs, ESPN.com reported Monday. It means Sherman will remain eligible to play in Sunday's home game against Arizona. Brandon Browner, the other Seahawks' cornerback who faces a four-game suspension for suspected use of PED, has...

Seahawks’ Sidney Rice knocked out on game-winning TD (VIDEO)

The Seattle Seahawks went into Chicago to beat the Bears in overtime Sunday.  Seattle was on the Bears’ 13-yard line when Russell Wilson hit Sidney Rice on a crossing route at the two.  Rice met Bears safety Major Wright as he crossed the goal line.  The ball squirted loose and players from both teams dove into a scrum to recover it. Referee Mike Carey reviewed the play to make...

Rookie Wilson guides Seahawks to OT win

CHICAGO -- Quarterback Russell Wilson of Seattle is no longer short nor a rookie. Well, actually, he's still both of those things, but don't try telling that to the Chicago Bears -- or to the Seahawks, for that matter. Wilson stood tall and played like a poised veteran Sunday, directing a magnificent drive late in the fourth quarter and then another in overtime, eventually...

Sidney Rice gets knocked out after catching game-winning touchdown (Video)

Halfway through the first overtime of the Chicago Bears/Seattle Seahawks game, Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson ended the game with a touchdown pass to Sidney Rice. As Rice slides to get into the end zone, he gets clobbered on a hit by Chicago cornerback Major Wright which knocks him out cold: Rice ended up being okay and got up to celebrate Seattle's 23-17 win. ...

Seattle has perfect offensive finish to beat Bears

The distances the Seattle Seahawks offense needed to cover late in regulation and then again in overtime left plenty of opportunity, as Pete Carroll put it, to ''really screw it up.'' Not with Russell Wilson at the controls. Not with the way this rookie is playing. ''There's really nothing to hold us back with what we can do and ask the quarterback to...

Rice TD gives Seahawks 23-17 OT win over Bears

On target with his passes, too fast with his feet and composed when he could have wilted down the stretch, Russell Wilson was simply having a blast. Why wouldn't he? He stared down the Monsters of the Midway and gave Seattle a rare road win, not to mention a playoff boost. Wilson threw for two late touchdowns, connecting with Sidney Rice for a 13-yard score with 7:33 left...

Russell Wilson delivered in a big way for the Seattle Seahawks Sunday against the Chicago Bears. Seahawks stun the Bears in pivotal matchup

The Seattle Seahawks needed overtime to pull off today's upset of the Chicago Bears, but in the end, Russell Wilson was able to take the Seahawks down the field on the first possession of overtime, ending with a touchdown toss to Sidney Rice. The game was close throughout, with the Seahawks holding a late lead before Jay Cutler connected with Brandon Marshall, putting the...

Russell Wilson leads Seattle to late win against Chicago

The Chicago Bears needed to keep Jay Cutler upright if they were going to defeat the Seattle Seahawks. They did that but it was their defense who could not contain Seattle’s Russell Wilson late in Sunday’s game. Earlier in the week, Seattle head coach Pete Carroll said that the training wheels were off of the offense. Wilson attempted a career high 37 passes against the Bears...

Time To Russell Up Some Recognition For Wilson

I know I had a million other people I could’ve made the lead out of from yesterday’s games but I think you’ve already heard of them and you already know how good they are and what they do.  Don’t worry, I’ll be able to talk about them below.  What you need to realize is for all the accolades being shined on Luck and RGIII, Russell Wilson is putting together a strong year...
