When I sat down to watch this game, I had no idea what to expect. I knew Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch would have a big day, and I figured the same for Rams running back Steven Jackson as well. I was surprised, and immensely impressed with more than a couple of things. The Seattle Seahawks (5-7) took the field Monday night against the (2-10) St. Louis Rams. The game began the way I thought it would, boring. Suddenly, the emergence of Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin would grab my attention, and never let go after that. Early in the 1st Quarter the Seahawks blocked and returned a punt to take the lead 7-0. There would never really be a battle as Seattle had this game under wraps the whole night. We're going to take a look at things that impressed me, depressed me, and the "bone headed play of the night".
First, we'll start with things that impressed me, and it would be wrong if I started with anyone other than wide receiver Doug Baldwin. Baldwin finished...

Seattle football fans take the phrase "Feed the Beast" quite literally. Running back Marshawn Lynch made headlines with his sideline Skittles snack earlier this season, and Seahawks fans are simply eating it up. After Lynch scored a touchdown against the Rams on Monday night, fans tossed a bag of Skittles at the Beast, showering the 5-foor-11, 215-pounder with candy, as...
Seattle Seahawks Marshawn Lynch gets his skittles after a TD run on Monday Night Football versus the St. Louis Rams. John Gruden from ESPN's broadcast team can be heard saying "what’s in these things." Whatever it is its working. Marshawn Lynch is the hottest running back in the NFL. The final score of the game on Monday Night Football was 30-13 Seattle over St. Louis.
Last night, the Seattle Seahawks defeated the St. Louis Rams on Monday Night Football and Marshawn Lynch had another big rushing day.
After his fourth quarter touchdown run, some fans pelted him with Skittles:

The Seattle Seahawks defeated the St. Louis Rams 30-13 during their NFC West battle on Monday Night.
Seahawks QB Tarvaris Jackson passed for 224 yards and connected with Wide Receiver Doug Baldwin for a score. Baldwin finished with seven receptions and 93 yards. Running Back Marshawn Lynch continued his scoring streak by getting in the end-zone for the 9th consecutive...
The Rams-Seahawks Monday Night Football battle reminded me of two beliefs I have come to accept with this Rams team. 1: The Rams are really, really bad. And not bad like a play or two away from winning a game. No bad like all-time reference type bad. 2: The Rams are downright wasting Steven Jackson.
Steven Jackson did is his part, he always does. Jackson put up 123 yards rushing...
Stopping the run will be an important key for the second-straight week.
A look at four keys for the Bears to beat the Seattle Seahawks.
1. Stop Marshawn Lynch and force Tarvaris Jackson to beat you
Much like last week, the key for a Bears win this week will be focusing on stopping the run and forcing the quarterback to beat them. The Seahawks truly don’t run or pass well, but...
The Rams need to join Kansas City and Miami and fire Steve Spagnola. They also need to trade Steven Jackson. He has been a good soldier long enough. Can you imagine him on New England or Green Bay ? He has hall of fame talent and his abilities are buried beneath the inadequacy of a [...]
Marshawn Lynch and a stingy defense helped the Seahawks to a 30-13 victory over the St. Louis Rams on Monday Night Football at CenturyLink Field.
When we last saw the Eagles defense, they were being run over by Marshawn Lynch but things are turning out much differently for them this week. They’ve dominated the Dolphins in the first half of their game in Miami, giving up only one score that came as the result of a short field following a…
Good teams win the games they are supposed to win. Keep that in mind. The Seahawks will likely end up just outside the playoffs this season, but they are still a good team. Tonight, they did what they are supposed to do; they overcame injuries and ran up the score on an inferior team.
The Seahawks have now won 4 of their last 5 games. That 2-6 record is a distant memory, and the...
The Rams were pathetic last night. Sam Bradford gutted in out and played on his bad ankle, but he should have sat out based on how he played. Bradford completed 12 of 29 passes for 193 yards with 0 TD passes and 1 INT. Steven Jackson had a hard time finding running room as he rushed for 63 yards on 20 carries (3.2 ypc) with 1 TD run. He also caught 3 passes for 60 yards ...
Kansas City Chiefs @ New York Jets -10As poor as the Jets have looked, you don’t honestly believe in Tyler Palko, do you? Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Jacksonville Jaguars +9Josh Freeman is hurting, the Bucs aren’t believing, and Raheem Morris decided it would be a swell idea to instill some discipline in his team for the first time last week. This feels like a rock-bottom loss for...
Undrafted rookie Doug Baldwin blocked a first-quarter punt that was returned by Michael Robinson 17 yards for a touchdown, then caught a 29-yard TD pass from Tarvaris Jackson in the third quarter as the Seattle Seahawks pulled away for a 30-13 win.
