New England Patriots
New England Patriots @ Tennessee TitansNEP 34 TEN 13The New England Patriots offense did what they do every season, look suspect in the preseason then come out in the opener and perform like nothing bad ever happened. The one difference on this Sunday however was the fact that they established the run game early and stuck with it the entire game.Tom Brady threw for 236 yards and two touchdowns, proving that Tom Brady is still well Tom Brady. While the yardage numbers were down he still got two touchdowns and looked good. Stevan Ridley was the star of the game going off for 152 total yards, 127 rushing and 25 receiving also scoring a touchdown. Ridley played great while Vereen missed the game due to injury. This performance should all but solidify Ridley atop the Patriots running back depth chart.Brandon Lloyd had a decent debut as a Patriot with five receptions for 69 yards on eight targets. The plus is that Brady and Lloyd looked to be on the same page already. Wes Welker did nothi...

HIS BEAUTIFUL FACE!
Blood, sweat and touchdowns. Tom Brady obviously subscribes to that theory, leading the Patriots to a convincing victory over the Titans on Sunday despite getting his nose busted up in the first half. "I never mind a little blood," Brady said after the game. "[It's] not my usual look. That was the only good [hit] I took. It's always fun winning." Brady...
Tom Brady made another little bit of NFL history on Sunday afternoon, as he passed another legend in the league's record book. The Patriots quarterback threw two touchdown passes in New England's 34-13 win, giving him 302 for his storied career. That number puts him ahead of another quarterbacking legend, John Elway, on the all-time passing touchdowns list. How does Brady...
Tom Brady was left with a bloody nose after being sacked by Kamerion Wimbley in the second quarter of Sunday’s Patriots-Titans game. Wimbley chased down Brady who was trying to escape the pressure by rolling to his right, and the linebacker clawed him with a paw that went through the facemask. Brady put his hand toward his nose immediately, knowing that he was hurt. Since that...
Tom Brady got hurt in New England's season opener against the Titans, and now he has a mark on his nose. What does Gisele think?
Most Patriots fans would be happy if Tom Brady took every snap this season, but beyond the future Hall of Famer, New England has just one quarterback waiting in the wings. That could explain the recent interest in working out QBs. The Patriots worked out eight players, including quarterbacks Curtis Painter and Stephen McGee on Tuesday, according to ESPN.com. The other six players...
The last time the Patriots had a legitimate No. 1 running back lurking in their backfield, Corey Dillon had just turned 30 years old and Tom Brady was closing in on his third Super Bowl title. Almost eight years later, Stevan Ridley has finally appeared to reinvigorate the Patriots lost art. In an offense where Brady has been the primary, secondary and tertiary focus -- almost since...
Tom Brady feels fine about his scarred nose as long as his supermodel wife does.
There was a faint red mark - but no bandage- near the bridge of his nose as he stood at a podium for his weekly news conference on Wednesday. His nose also was uncovered Monday night during a charity bowling event he attended with New England Patriots teammates and Gisele Bundchen.
“You know, it wasn’t perfect by any stretch, but it’s always fun winning.” -Tom Brady.
The AFC East will be one of the weakest divisions in 2012, with only the New England Patriots posing any kind of threat to go deep in the playoffs. However, even the Patriots will not be as dominant as they have been in years past due to a below average offensive line, a concept that was previously foreign to Tom Brady.Over the last decade, the formula for having success against...
Stevan Ridley led the way for the New England Patriots on Sunday in their 28-10 win
There was nothing complicated about what the Patriots did on offense in Sunday’s 34-13 victory over the Titans in Tennessee. Simple singleback and shotgun formations were mostly used and the most complicated play was a double play-action attempt. Route combinations complimented each other nicely...
