Tampa Bay at N.Y. Giants

Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET, at MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, N.J. - TV: FOX;

DirecTV: 707

*TV announcers: Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Pam Oliver

*Keys to the game: The Giants produced just 269 total yards in the Week 1 loss to the Cowboys. QB Eli Manning wouldn't mind seeing the team use more of the four-minute offense that helped create favorable matchups for TE Martellus Bennett and slot receiver Domenik Hixon against Dallas. The Giants' third-down offense, an issue in 2011, wasn't good again in the opener and WR Victor Cruz didn't shake free for usual big plays while also dropping multiple passes. Manning's pre-snap dissection includes finding FS Ronde Barber, who had a sack and interception for the Buccaneers last week. Tampa Bay dominated time of possession (37:27) to knock off Carolina, and rookie RB Doug Martin made the biggest contribution with 28 total touches for 118 yards. The Bucs won't hasten the pace and could use their "jumbo" personnel to wall off the Giants' vaunted defensive line rotation. QB Josh Freeman has the mobility and arm strength to keep plays alive and convert if the injury-dinged secondary of the Giants doesn't hold up.

*Matchup to watch - Giants DEs Justin Tuck and Jason Pierre-Paul vs. Buccaneers RT Jeremy Trueblood: Trueblood is penalty and sack prone, and help from tight ends and running backs is necessary in the passing game with Tuck and Pierre-Paul, who slid all along the defensive line in Week 1, capable of imploding the pocket.

*Player spotlight - Giants CB Michael Coe: If his hamstring injury suffered against Dallas in the opener doesn't heal, Justin Tryon -- currently fourth on the depth chart -- would start and line up against Mike Williams or Vincent Jackson.

*Fast facts: The Giants are 1-4 at home since Nov. 20, 2011. ... Barber has started 200 straight games since 1999.

The Buccaneers spent big in the offseason to lure WR Vincent Jackson and CB Eric Wright. The rested Giants have what the Buccaneers don't -- a constant pass rush -- and have had 10 days to hear about their Week 1 defeat.

*Our pick: Giants 27-17
