Arizona at New England

Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET, at Gillette Stadium, Foxboro, Mass. - TV: FOX; DirecTV: 706

*TV announcers: Dick Stockton, John Lynch, Jennifer Hale

*Keys to the game: Cardinals defensive coordinator Ray Horton unleashed an aggressive front seven and a wide assortment of blitzes against Seattle last week. That group gets to dig its teeth into another offensive line with some serious question marks. The difference in facing the Patriots is TEs Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez. The dynamic duo each caught six passes at Tennessee, and QB Tom Brady's quick release and ability to attack the middle of the field could give Horton pause before dialing up a constant stream of blitzes. The Cardinals want to be physical on both sides of the ball, and featured RBs Ryan Williams and Beanie Wells last week. QB Kevin Kolb came off the bench in place of injured John Skelton Week 1 and was extremely efficient in one series in an up-tempo attack. The question will be how he fares over four quarters and in the face of pressure.

*Matchup to watch - Cardinals linebackers vs. Patriots RB Stevan Ridley: If Arizona is going to attack Brady aggressively, it's going to start with bottling up the running game. Ridley had a breakout performance with 21 carries for 125 yards at Tennessee. Armed with a new six-year contract, Daryl Washington is the centerpiece of a very solid Arizona defense.

*Player spotlight - Cardinals WR Andre Roberts: Arizona identified needing a better complement to Larry Fitzgerald as a primary offseason need. They drafted Michael Floyd in the first round, but Fitzgerald said to keep an eye on the Roberts. The third-year receiver earned the No. 2 starting job and was targeted nine times in Week 1, coming up with five catches for 54 yards, including the game-winning score.

*Fast facts: Cardinals DE Calais Campbell has six career blocked field goals. ... Brady has 125 career victories in 160 starters, the fastest quarterback in NFL history to reach the milestone.

WHO WILL WIN AND WHY

The Cardinals' fast, attacking defensive scheme is very reminiscent of what the Steelers have featured. That won't phase Tom Brady, who has seen it all before, and the Cardinals quarterbacks make too many forced throws to go toe to toe in this battle.

*Our pick: Patriots 24-16
