Peyton Manning came out and threw three interceptions in the first quarter. It was his return to Monday Night Football, a bit over hyped for the game he probably came out pressing which led to the interceptions. The Broncos were able to put together a late rally on the legs of Willis McGahee, but were unable to overcome the Falcons who jumped out to the early lead.Peyton Manning threw for 241 yards and one touchdown with the aforementioned three interceptions. Manning was also sacked three times.Willis McGahee is no slouch and proved that once again on Monday night. He rushed for 113 yards on 22 attempts and two touchdowns. He added two receptions for 11 yards. Demaryius Thomas finished the game with eight receptions (11 targets) for 78 yards and a touchdown. Eric Decker hauled in four catches (8 targets) for 53 yards and no touchdowns. Brandon Stokley caught three passes (6 targets) for 27 yards and no touchdowns.Jacob Tamme had only two receptions for 13 yards while Joel Dreesen ...

“Just three bad decisions,” said Peyton Manning.
You’re about as likely to see Peyton Manning make three bad decisions in one quarter as you are to see Elvis Dumervil...
Peyton Manning’s apparent lack of confidence and arm strength have been debated since the future Hall of Fame quarterback struggled mightily in the Denver Broncos 27-21 loss to the Falcons on Sunday at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Against the … Continue reading →
Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning said that players in Denver Broncos offense are still in the process of getting to know each other and “all continue to learn” as he discussed the substandard offensive output — at least for an offense led by him — during Sunday night’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Discussing a [...]
If you weren’t watching the game, you’ve probably heard by now. Peyton Manning threw three interceptions in the first quarter of last nights game against the Atlanta Falcons. This is something Peyton hasn’t done since 2007 and something nobody saw coming after his strong showing against the Steelers last week. The Broncos ended up making a fourth quarter push, but couldn’t...
Both the Broncos and Falcons are coming off of double-digit wins in Week 1, albeit against much different teams.
The Broncos defeated the Steelers in Peyton Manning’s Denver debut, while the Falcons easily defeated the lowly Chiefs, who are playing like the worst team in football right now.
This game will be very evenly matched and will feature two explosive offenses.
ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Falcons added to what was already one of the biggest questions of the young NFL season: Is Peyton Manning healthy? Atlanta picked off Manning three times in the first half Monday and survived a late Denver rally for a 27-21 win in front of a raucous crowd at the Georgia Dome. Matt Ryan threw two touchdown passes, one to Tony Gonzalez and the other to Roddy...
Peyton Manning's second game with the Denver Broncos looked nothing like his first.
Manning threw interceptions on Denver's first three possessions, and the Broncos could not recover from the poor start in a 27-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night.
In a 3-hour, 27-minute game marred by questionable decisions from replacement officials and long clock stoppages...
Tonight should prove to be an exciting game when the Broncos roll into Atlanta to take on the Falcons. Both of these teams had promising starts in week 1 and handled their opponents rather easily. Peyton Manning became the "Manning of Old" around the Broncos third or fourth drive last week, speeding up to the line and running a no huddle offense to perfection. He has...
There are two ways of looking at this.
Maybe VY just having a bad day and wanted to retweet someone who was making a terrible comparison, but was supporting him or VY really believes this.
If it is the former I get it, if it is the latter then you have your answer as to why he isn’t playing currently in the NFL.
I know all my haters are happy that I’m not playing football...
Editor's note: With Peyton Manning playing again tonight, and so far this season looking like himself, this is a fantastically written piece by Josh Boeke about the nature of fanhood. Specifically, Boeke takes on the nature of Colts fans and their now ex-quarterback Peyton Manning. While plenty has been written on the issue, this piece, in my opinion, is one of the most well...
We nailed two picks at 1:00, lost two at 4:00, and closed out Sunday of week 2 with a win thanks to the 49ers over the Lions. Tonight, we’re given an oustanding Monday Night game between the Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos. Is this one worth betting on?
DENVER BRONCOS @ ATLANTA FALCONS (-3)
The spread has not moved on this line at all, standing pat at Falcons (-3). I was expecting...
We escaped Monday Night with a win thanks to our Monday Night teaser special with the Broncos (+10) & Over 44. My initial gut feeling was to be all over the Falcons (-3), but there was lots of chatter of a Peyton Manning outright win, so I figured, there’s no way Peyton will lose by double digits on Monday Night, right? Well, he almost did, but we got the cover with our teaser...
Last week I noted the poor job the Pittsburgh Steelers did in their opener against the Denver Broncos at tackling the catch as they allowed 126 total YAC in that game. Now of course it did not help that Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas had 70 of those yards on the 1 yard screen pass from quarterback Peyton Manning that ended in a touchdown 70 yards later, but you just can&...
1. Schiano’s tactics weren’t dirty – just unnecessary.
When Eli Manning and the Giants got into the “Victory” formation following their thrilling come-from-behind victory against the Bucs on Sunday, Tampa Bay’s defenders fired off the ball and sent Manning backwards to the ground. The “Victory” formation is usually a causal affair. Players get down into their stances...
