To help you win your fantasy football matchup this weekend, here are my week 3 fantasy football players to star and sit:

Guys to Start:

QB Robert Griffin III, WSH (vs. CIN) – RG3 has officially arrived as a fantasy star, so make sure to get him into your lineup.

RB Jamaal Charles, KC (@ NO) – Charles faces an abysmal Saints run-defense that is allowing 169.5 yards against per game.

WR A. J. Green, CIN (@ WSH) – Last week Washington got ripped apart by Danny Amendola, so expect Green to have a monster game.

TE Scott Chandler, BUF (vs. CLE) – Chandler has caught a touchdown in each of Buffalo’s first two games.

Guys to Sit:

QB Russell Wilson, SEA (vs. GB) – The Green Bay defense looks much better then they did last season, so expect Wilson to have a rough game Monday night.

RB Chris Johnson, TEN (vs. DET) – CJ2K has been appalling this season, as he has only rushed for 21 yards on 19 carries.  If you have any other options at running back, do not be afraid to use them.

WR Brandon Lloyd, NE (@ BAL) – The addition of both Deion Branch and Kellen Winslow this past week does bode well for the future of Lloyd with the Patriots.

TE Kyle Rudolph, MIN (vs. SF) – Rudolph may be having a career season, but he will have a very time gaining separation from the athletic 49ers’ linebackers.

The electric Redskins rookie says there was a little too much 'extracurricular stuff going on after the plays' when his team took on the Rams last Sunday.

Robert Griffin III accuses the Rams of playing ‘dirty’ and ‘unprofessional’

One of the many changes we have seen across the NFL as a result of the replacement officiating crews is players complaining about dirty play. Rookies typically don’t say much during their first professional season, but Robert Griffin III apparently felt as though the Rams threw enough cheap shots at him last Sunday that saying something was warranted. “I remember one play,...

TerezOwens.com draws an astute Robert Griffin III comparison

This is just a straight repost, with credit to Terez for drawing the comparison… I always knew that Robert Griffin had a unique look. He’s got a strong sense of style, a love of socks, and he’s a pretty unique guy. But he’s reminded me of someone…

Will the triple option work for the Redskins?

Mike Shannahan is certainly known for his bag of tricks when it comes to offense, especially during his short time in Washington with the Redskins. He certainly could not ask for a better quarterback to be able to direct that offense than the reigning Heisman Trophy winner out of Baylor University in Robert Griffin, III. Through three games this season, Griffin has shown that he...

RG3 appears in promo, will appear on season premiere of ‘The League’ (video)

Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III, he of the Subway, Gatorade, adidas and who knows what other additional television commercials, understands that to properly market yourself, you have to put yourself out there. And perhaps more importantly, RG3 must be familiar with old adage, “Strike while the iron is hot,” because let’s face, the [...]

Rams respond to RG3's 'dirty' remark

The St. Louis Rams are brushing aside comments questioning their style of play by Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III. Griffin told reporters Wednesday the Rams were ''dirty'' and ''unprofessional'' during their 31-28 victory on Sunday. He claimed he was hit after plays and in other unnecessary ways during the game. ''I remember one...

Redskins RG3 Says Rams Played ‘Dirty’ Football…

Redskins RG3 Says Rams Played ‘Dirty’ Football - Washington Redskins rookie QB Robert Griffin III said that when he played in St. Louis on Sunday against the Rams, he thought they went above and beyond what’s acceptable on a football field, not only playing physical football but playing dirty football. “They were doing a lot of dirty things,” Griffin said. “I still think...

Are the Rams a dirty team?

Rookie sensation Robert Griffin III quipped after a loss to the Rams that he believed the Rams were guilty of dirty play. Griffin, after only his second game, was professional in his answer. Griffin vetted that he probably wasn’t in a position to accurately criticize because of his limited time in the league.   Still, [...]

Redskins-Bengals Open Thread

So far this season the Redkins have won a game we didn’t expect them to win and lost a game we didn’t expect them to lose, which is very Redskins. The difference of course is that Robert Griffin III was our quarterback in both games, and he was spectacular. May he be so again, no matter what occurs.

Cincinnati Bengals at Washington Redskins NFL Week 3 Preview

Jeff Curry US Presswire If you enjoy seeing a ton of points scored, then this matchup is just for you.
