Tampa Bay Buccaneers 10, Dallas Cowboys 16This was probably the ugliest all-around game of the week, as there wasn’t a lot of good football played here.  Both teams scored TDs in the first quarter, then traded field goals the rest of the way.  Josh Freeman (111 total yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) was simply dreadful, but he at least threw a touchdown pass to soften the blow for anyone who’s unfortunate enough to be playing Freeman at this young point in the fantasy season.  Tony Romo (284 total yards, 1 INT) had a much more respectable yardage total, but had no scores to boost his fantasy day.  That makes two weeks in a row of a pedestrian Romo, who is undoubtedly a starter for most any team he’s on.Ugly day for Freeman, ugly day for the receiving options for the Bucs.  Vincent Jackson (1-29) was abysmal this week, but luckily he’s been good the first two weeks, so we can probably give him a pass this week.  No one else on this squad is even worth mentioning. This was a fine day for Miles Aust...

Bucs cheerleaders go Gangnam Style

It's seems like everyone is trying their hand at re-creating the viral phenomenon known as "Gangnam Style." The Tampa Bay Buccaneers mascot and cheereleaders were the latest to do so as you can see in the video above. The original "Gangnam Style" video on YouTube has already amassed 285 million views and nearly three million likes, which makes it the most...

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders Go Gangnam Style, Because That’s Still A Thing

Captain Fear from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and, more importantly, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheerleaders have produced their own Gangnam Style video. Somewhere the Oregon Duck is rolling his eyes and quacking about how he did this a month ago, when Gangnam Style didn’t get on everybody’s nerves. Bucs release Shipley, sign Parrish

The Buccaneers continue to shuffle their wide receiving position. After signing Jordan Shipley last week and head coach Greg Schiano saying they were glad he was still available, the team released him yesterday and signed veteran wide receiver Roscoe Parrish. Parrish was a second round pick by the Buffalo Bills in 2005. For his career, he has 134 receptions for 1,502 yards and...

Tampa Bay DE Clayborn done for season

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Tampa Bay defensive end Adrian Clayborn will miss the rest of the season because of a right knee injury that will require surgery. Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano made the announcement Monday, a day after Clayborn was hurt during the second half of a 16-10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Clayborn was the 20th overall pick in the 2011 draft. As a rookie, he started...

Cowboys defense bailed out offense in Week 3

As we look at the defense week after week, it is important that we keep a close eye on their progress and while noting that the caliber of opponent and quarterback is a very important consideration, we also don't want to minimize a gradual, but physical domination like we saw against Tampa Bay. The Cowboys took a step back against Seattle, and all week you would think that...

Bucs lose Adrian Clayborn for the season

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano told the media today that defensive end Adrian Clayborn is done for the season with torn knee ligaments in his right knee. “Unfortunately, it’s not a good one. Adrian is going to have to have surgery, so he’s done for the season,” Schiano said during his Monday news conference, per the Tampa Bay Times. “You know, it’ll probably...

Monday Musings: 5 thoughts on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' loss to the Dallas Cowboys

1. Ever since Josh Freeman was drafted in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft, fans have debated whether or not they think he is a franchise quarterback. In 2010, he certainly looked the part. Last season, Freeman struggled and people starting to doubt his skills. This offseason, Freeman lost over 25 pounds and appeared more dedicated than ever to being a quality signal caller...

NFL News: Tampa Bay Buccaneers DE Adrian Clayborn headed for IR

After a grueling loss to the Dallas Cowboys on the road, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were dealt another blow when DE Adrian Clayborn went down with a knee injury. Clayborn tore a ligament in his right knee against the Cowboys on Sunday. While MRI results have not been released, it looks like there is structural damage, meaning he would miss the rest of this season. It would not only...

Melissa Rycroft Hot Chick of the Day (Pictures)

Today's hot chick is Melissa Rycroft from Dallas, Texas. She is a reality television contestant and former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.  She was on the cast of Dancing with the Stars and made this seasons All Star cast by winning her season of the show.  She should be one of the last girls standing with her dancing background and hottness to woo the crowd to vote for her. ...

Cowboys' offensive line under the microscope

The Cowboys are tied atop the NFC East with the Eagles and Giants with a 2-1 mark. But they are not under any illusions that they are playing good football. The Cowboys offense has struggled the past two weeks in a 27-7 loss to the Seahawks and a 16-10 victory against the Buccaneers. The offense has scored just two touchdowns the past games mainly because the offensive line has...

Greg Schiano could be fired this season

The Buccaneers play in a very difficult division, and they're still busy picking up the pieces from the short-lived Raheem Morris era. The man the team chose to re-build with is Greg Schiano, but he shouldn't get too comfortable. He could be gone at the end of the year. As a general rule, I don't like to let my personal biases into my writing, especially on a league...

LSU-TCU to open next season at Cowboys Stadium

LSU will face TCU to open the 2013 season at Dallas Cowboys Stadium. LSU will be making its second appearance in the Cowboys Classic. The Tigers opened last season in Arlington, Texas, by beating Oregon. TCU, from nearby Fort Worth, will be making its first appearance in the five-year-old marquee season kickoff game. The game will be played Saturday, Aug. 31 and be televised by...

NFL Matchup Highlight: Chicago Bears vs Dallas Cowboys

This Monday night will see a matchup between my favorite team, the Bears, and one of my least favorite teams, the Cowboys. Forgive me as this is my first piece of writing about the NFL. Any comments are welcome, both positive and negative… both help. So, my hunch is that this is going to be a fantastic game. Let’s see if I can back this up with some stats. Looking at something...

Injuries force Cowboys to sign safety Frampton

It's only Week 4, but the Dallas Cowboys have already been forced to sign a free-agent safety off the street. In the past, the Cowboys have had to adjust on the fly because they began the year perilously thin in the secondary. In this case, it's a series of injuries that caused the Cowboys to sign former Vikings special teams ace Eric Frampton to provide depth at the safety...
