In an NFL Network special called O- Line Confidential, Big Blue's offensive line discussed how this was the worst they have ever felt after being 4-0. Each week they feel like they lost the last game. This mentality keeps the Giants sharp on a week to week basis, and helps them prepare no matter who the opponent is. This past week, The Giants needed all the focus they could muster as the media was surely swarming their facility in an attempt to find out what the status of injured quarterback Eli Manning was.
Eli is as tough as they come, and after a few days of treatment, he practiced on Friday with no setbacks. Quarterback David Carr and several other coaches kept an eye on Manning's feet as he moved around Friday and noticed nothing different about his footwork. Needless to say, Eli looks like he will be fine to make his 83rd consecutive start this Sunday against Oakland.
