Found September 23, 2012 on Rotowire:
In one league I left myself perilously thin at running back and have to start Steven Jackson, after getting outbid on Andre Brown. It's a 16-teamer, so the waiver wire is brutal. So I ask you, who is this week's Andre Brown? Who will we all be bidding on? Other players I'm wary of but have to play this week in various leagues: Marques Colston, Jamaal Charles (actually, in that league I could start Donald Brown or Ben Tate in his place), Greg Jennings. Did anyone else pick up Ramses Barden but then didn't start him? That was fun, starting DeAngelo Williams in his spot at the flex spot. I wish I could quit him. Who did you end up picking in Survivor if you're still alive?

Rams’ Jackson Misses Practice, Questionable For Sunday - St. Louis Rams RB Steven Jackson was held out of practice Friday, and will be listed as questionable for Sunday’s game, according to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Jackson has missed time with a groin injury in practice this week, after not being able to finish last week’s win over the Redskins. “I’m not...

Steven Jackson Limited vs. Chicago

St. Louis halfback Steven Jackson was able to play Sunday versus Chicago but he wasn't all that effective. He tallied a mere 29 yards rushing on 11 attempts.Fantasy Spin:The Rams had to air the ball out in the second half because they were down by two scores but even before St. Louis abandoned the ground game, Jackson didn't look very impressive. He'll need a heck of...

Week 3 Fantasy Football Injury Updates: Steven Jackson and Marques Colston ACTIVE

According to NFL Network’s Stacey Dales, Rams’ RB Steven Jackson is active and will play today vs the Bears.  Jackson’s mysterious second half absence in last week’s win over Washington raised red flags as it was not clear whether the veteran was benched following an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty or if he was battling a groin injury.  Regardless, Jackson is active and...

Rams RB Jackson to play vs. Bears

Running back Steven Jackson is active for the Rams and will play against Chicago on Sunday after leaving last week's game with a groin injury, according to the NFL Network. Jackson didn't practice all week and was officially listed as questionable. Rookie seventh-round pick Daryl Richardson replaced Jackson last week and is expected to be his top backup against the Bears...

Steven Jackson Expected To Play

Stacey Dales of NFL Network reports Rams running back Steven Jackson will play Sunday against Chicago. Jackson had been listed as questionable with a groin injury.Fantasy Spin:It will be interesting to see how cautious the Rams will be with Jackson's workload on Sunday, especially after Daryl Richardson blew up for 58 yards on just nine carries last week against Washington.

Fantasy Football News: St. Louis Rams RB Steven Jackson likely won’t play vs. Bears

The St. Louis Rams will visit the Chicago Bears this afternoon in a game which will likely see both teams take the field without their starting running backs. The Bears have already ruled RB Matt Forte out for Sunday’s game but questions remain about RB Steven Jackson. Stacey Dales of the NFL Network is reporting this morning however that don’t be surprised if Jackson does not...

Mucho Frio: Steven Jackson

I’m feeling my age Juan… Heading into the season Steven Jackson looked to be in exceptional shape as he dropped to 5% body fat (same as me) and was ready to make some noise in Jeff Fisher’s run heavy offense. He’s just not getting it done, whether it’s the injury or whatever, 11/29 today was disappointing since he was healthy enough to suit up. The Rams get the Hawks, Cardinals...

Rams list Steven Jackson as a game time decision, rule Michael Brockers out

Steven Jackson left the game and did not return last week against the Redskins for reasons many thought were related to a penalty. However, the Rams denied that was the reason and denied a benching at all saying Jackson left the game with a groin injury. Almost a week later, that appears to be true and Jackson is reportedly going to be a game time decision. The good news for his...

Steven Jackson Remains Game-Time Decision

St. Louis running back Steven Jackson (groin) is a game-time decision for Sunday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.Fantasy Spin:The running back will be evaluated during pre-game warmups before the team makes a final decision. The Rams play at 1 p.m. ET so we'll know soon whether Jackson will be active. If Daryl Richardson starts fantasy owners should get the rookie in their...

Steven Jackson is questionable, will be a game-time decision

The St. Louis Rams announced that running back Steven Jackson has been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game and will likely be a game-time decision. I would think that Daryl Richardson will find himself getting a good amount of carries once again this week.

Chicago loss a flashback to 2011 puny attack

Sam Bradford absorbed six sacks and Steven Jackson rushed for just 29 yards. The St. Louis offense, so potent the first two weeks, found no holes in Week 3. The 23-6 loss at Chicago was an uncomfortable flashback to 2011, when the Rams were at the bottom of the NFL with a 12-point scoring average. The Rams were largely betrayed by a patchwork line minus the projected starter at...

Notable Fantasy Football Injuries for Week 3

Steven Jackson is game-time decision with groin injury Jackson groin injury seems to be more mettling than initially let on as Jeff Fisher has pushed his decision to play him right before game time. I would have serious concerns about starting Jackson this week before his injuries concern, with both his matchup against the Bears defense and Daryl Richardson’s role in offense....

Who’s In, Who’s Out – 2012 Week 3

Each Sunday, in the minutes leading up to kickoff, I will be listing which notable players — possibly injured and/or on the bubble during the week — will and won’t be suiting up for action. Set your fantasy lineups accordingly. St. Louis Rams — RB Steven Jackson (groin) is ACTIVE and will play. New Orleans Saints — WR Marques Colston (foot) is ACTIVE...
