Owners of Chris Johnson might be justified in their concerns thus far, but after two weeks, there are plenty of running backs who have yet to have the opportunity to break out for a huge fantasy game.Ā One such player is Maurice Jones-Drew.Ā Sure, he scored a TD off of a short pass in week 2, but rushing totals of 77 and 60 yards is not what weāve come to expect from MJD.Ā Donāt worry though, heāll be just fine in week 3 against The Colts.Ā The entire Jaguars offense revolves around MJDās playing ability and in week 3, I expect over 100 yards on the ground and at least 1 TD.Ā A total of 20 fantasy points or more in standard scoring leagues would not surprise me at all.Ā Less than 12, however, would.
Kevin Smith of The Lions is another player with breakout potential in week 3.Ā The Lions have a plethora of options at RB, but the starting job appears to be Smithās for the time being.Ā Facing a Titans defense with more holes than a donut shop, Smith should have no trouble making week 3...

The Tennessee Titans were thought to be one of the dark horse candidates for a playoff spot in the AFC but so far after two weeks of play, they have proved only their critics right.
Once a phenomenon, running back Chris Johnson continues to sputter out gaining just 21 yards over the first two games of the season.
Yesterday, Johnson should have been tuned up for a big day with Kenny...
Chris Johnson has picked up right where he left off this season. Unfortunately for Titans fans and his fantasy owners, that is a very bad thing. Johnson had a down year in 2011 and vowed to bounce back with a vengeance in 2012. Unless carrying the ball 19 times for 21 yards is bouncing back, CJNoK is off to a brutal start.
The main issue has been the Titans offensive line. Johnson...
Dear Mr Johnson,When you were drafted to the Titans I was actually giddy.Ā After seeing your blazing time during the 40 yard dash at the combine I had goosebumps when I thought about what you might be able to do for the Titans during your career.Ā Flashes of Barry Sanders ran through my mind.Ā When the Titans' first round pick came around and you were still on the board, I...
After Sundayās loss to the Chargers, Titans running back Chris Johnson made it clear that he believes his teammates arenāt doing their jobs, which is effecting his production on the field.
āThe run game aināt working,ā Johnson said. āWe just arenāt executing the plays. I donāt know why weāre not.ā
āPeople need to step up and do their job,ā Johnson said. ā...
The Tennessee Titans have started off the season last in rushing in the entire NFL. Ā They have put up an embarrassing 29.0 yards per game in the first two weeks against the New England Patriots and the San Diego Chargers. Ā Chris Johnson has a total of 21 yards in those two game on a 19 carries. Ā That's just over a yard per carry.
Now today Johnson openly admitted his frustrations...
Tennessee running back Chris Johnson was a non-factor again in Week 2, rushing the ball eight times for 17 yards.Fantasy Spin:The Titans have a total of 58 yards rushing in two games and they are led by Jake Locker's 32 yards on four carries. Not what fantasy owners who were looking for a bounce back season from CJ were hoping for. While you may be tempted to trade him, his value...
FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. Its been a rough start to the season for two of the most productive running backs in the NFL over the last five seasons, Atlantas Michael Turner and Tennessees Chris Johnson.
Between 2008 and 2011, no running gained more rushing yards than Johnsons 5,645 a crown, at this rate, that hell have trouble keeping on his head when the 2012 season has ended.
Iām hanging my head in shame Juanā¦
I really had high hopes for Chris Johnson this season after his finished last year so strong. Ā Jake Locker has not lived up to his potential and the defensesā can smell the fresh blood. Ā We all know opponents are going to stack the box knowing that Johnson is their only stud with big play ability. Ā After seeing him week 2 he just looked...
What Is Good With Chris Johnson?
Nothing. Absolutely, positively nothing.
21 yards in two games? Are you kidding me? I swear on all my extra pine tar that I would be able to get more yards than that in two games. I may not be able to walk again, but Iād get you 22 yards.
Whatās the reasoning for the transformation from CJ2K to someone who is impressed with Cedric Bensonās...
The Tennessee Titans have stumbled through a miserable start but are hoping to end that by continuing a trend.
The Titans have experienced a bevy of success in recent years against NFC foes, especially at home, but Sunday's game is against a Detroit Lions team that's eager to redeem itself following a missed opportunity.
After going 9-7 in coach Mike Munchak's inaugural...
