Buffalo Bills @ San Francisco 49ers


Buffalo Bills (2-2): Ryan Fitzpatrick has had a very impressive fantasy season thus far throwing for twelve touchdowns. But this week's match-up is not a good against a solid Niners defense.

Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller are both risky plays against the San Francisco rush defense.

Stevie Johnson is coming off his worst game of the season and looking to bounce back. It may be tough this week but if you are hit with injuries or bye week blues then he is a decent play.

Donald Jones is probable and will play as the Bills No. 2 wide receiver.

Scott Chandler already has four touchdowns on the young season and is an excellent red-zone target.

Good starts: Stevie Johnson

Middle of the road: Fred Jackson, C.J. Spiller, Scott Chandler

Bad starts: Donald Jones

 

San Francisco 49ers (3-1): Alex Smith is not a fantasy option.

Frank Gore is against another favorable match-up and can be played with confidence even if he only gets 15-18 rushes those could translate into 100 yards and a touchdown.

Kendall Hunter is still a Frank Gore injury away from being fantasy relevant.

Michael Crabtree has been getting plenty of targets from Alex Smith and has brought in 21 of them for 198 yards and no touchdowns.

Vernon Davis is off to a good start this season. Already with four touchdowns and 197 yards. He had his worst week of the season last week but don't expect that to happen again this week against a very friendly defense.

Good starts: Vernon Davis, Frank Gore, Michael Crabtree

Middle of the road: Kendall Hunter, Alex Smith

Bad starts: Brandon Jacobs, Randy Moss
