New Orleans Saints 31San Diego Chargers 24On a record setting night, Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints got their first win of the season over the San Diego Chargers. Brees set a new NFL record of 48 consecutive games with at least one touchdown pass. The record was held by Johnny Unitas for 52 years. Although it was a big accomplishment for Brees the bigger concern was with the team's overall record. After starting the season 0-4 this Sunday night game was a must win for the Saints. New Orleans Saints (1-4): Drew Brees had a spectacular game aside from setting that new record. Brees finished with 370 yards passing and four touchdowns.Pierre Thomas led the Saints backfield in yardage with 70 total yards (30 rushing, 40 receiving).Marques Colston had a monster game after appearing to be as close to 100% as he has all season.
