Who will be the top fantasy football wide receivers in Week 5? Jordy Nelson - Green Bay Packers Mr. Nelson has disappointed a lot of fantasy owners this year, including myself.  Although I knew it would be near impossible for him to repeat last year's uh-mazing season that surprised everyone with 68 receptions, 1,263 receiving yards, and 15 touchdowns, I still had a strong feeling about 2012 and the numbers he could put up with even more playing time racked up with Aaron Rodgers.   Nelson has started slow, but I look for this trend to stop and Nelson will start putting up some serious numbers; this week is no exception! The Packers take on the Colts in Indianapolis this week.  The Colts have given up the 8th most fantasy points to receivers they have faced.  Nelson is always a huge target of Aaron Rodgers, and this week could be even sweeter for fantasy owners as Greg Jennings has already been declared "out" for this week's game.  Yes, double-coverage of Nelson is ...

Packers’ Greg Jennings isn’t happy about his groin injury

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings admitted that he’s frustrated with the fact that he re-injured his groin this past Sunday. “Extremely frustrated, honestly,” said Jennings, via the Green Bay Press-Gazette. “Trying not to let it completely overtake me, and let it become overwhelming. Again, seven years playing this game at this level I’ve never experienced what...

Rodgers on wearing visor: 'I would never'

GREEN BAY, Wis. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is not considering the possibility of wearing a shield or a visor on his facemask, even after the injury he suffered in Sunday's game. Midway through the third quarter of Green Bay's Week 4 win, New Orleans Saints safety Malcolm Jenkins was attempting to tackle Rodgers near the goal line when his finger violently poked the...

Saturday expects emotional return to Indy

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings has been officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. During Green Bay's win over the New Orleans Saints last weekend, Jennings aggravated the groin injury he initially suffered in Week 1 and left the game early. Jennings missed Week 2, and the two-time Pro Bowl selection has only 12 catches...

Opponents ganging up on Matthews -- again

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Clay Matthews may have been a little too good to begin this season. With six sacks in the Packers' first two games, Matthews matched his 2011 season total and showed opposing teams that his statistical drop-off in production was nothing more than a one-year glitch. After the fourth-year linebacker dominated the 49ers and Bears in Weeks 1 and 2 and was on pace...

Saturday gearing up for 1st visit to Indianapolis

Hard as it is to believe, Jeff Saturday needs a visitor's guide to Indianapolis. Sure, he can give his Green Bay Packers teammates a list of restaurants to rival Zagat's after spending the first 13 seasons of his NFL career with the Colts. Have everyone over to his house if he wants. And he knows the way to Lucas Oil Stadium so well he could probably drive the team bus....

Green Bay Packers vs. Indianapolis Colts: Brutally Honest Preview

The Green Bay Packers have had one of the tougher schedules to start the year. They started with the stout 49ers, a division rival in the Bears, a Seattle game marred by the replacement refs and a Saints team desperate for a win. To come out of that with a 2-2 record could be looked at as a success or an utter disappointment. And just when you thought the road gets a little easier...
