Who will be the top fantasy football wide receivers in Week 5? Jordy Nelson - Green Bay Packers Mr. Nelson has disappointed a lot of fantasy owners this year, including myself. Although I knew it would be near impossible for him to repeat last year's uh-mazing season that surprised everyone with 68 receptions, 1,263 receiving yards, and 15 touchdowns, I still had a strong feeling about 2012 and the numbers he could put up with even more playing time racked up with Aaron Rodgers. Nelson has started slow, but I look for this trend to stop and Nelson will start putting up some serious numbers; this week is no exception! The Packers take on the Colts in Indianapolis this week. The Colts have given up the 8th most fantasy points to receivers they have faced. Nelson is always a huge target of Aaron Rodgers, and this week could be even sweeter for fantasy owners as Greg Jennings has already been declared "out" for this week's game. Yes, double-coverage of Nelson is ...

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings admitted that he’s frustrated with the fact that he re-injured his groin this past Sunday.
“Extremely frustrated, honestly,” said Jennings, via the Green Bay Press-Gazette. “Trying not to let it completely overtake me, and let it become overwhelming. Again, seven years playing this game at this level I’ve never experienced what...
GREEN BAY, Wis. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is not considering the possibility of wearing a shield or a visor on his facemask, even after the injury he suffered in Sunday's game.
Midway through the third quarter of Green Bay's Week 4 win, New Orleans Saints safety Malcolm Jenkins was attempting to tackle Rodgers near the goal line when his finger violently poked the...

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Jeff Saturday expects his return to Indianapolis on Sunday to be "awkward." After 13 years playing for the Colts, the veteran center will experience a lot of firsts when he arrives to Lucas Oil Stadium with the Packers as a member of the road team."The funny thing is, I don't even know where the visitor's locker room is," Saturday said...
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings has been officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
During Green Bay's win over the New Orleans Saints last weekend, Jennings aggravated the groin injury he initially suffered in Week 1 and left the game early. Jennings missed Week 2, and the two-time Pro Bowl selection has only 12 catches...
When Packers nose tackle B.J. Raji saw the envelope from the NFL, he figured he would be writing a big check.
He expected something in the neighborhood of a $20,000 fine for his personal foul penalty in Sundays game against the Saints.
So Raji was relieved that he was fined about $7,800, he said today.
The NFL announces most player fines on Fridays, but most likely Rajis...
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Clay Matthews may have been a little too good to begin this season. With six sacks in the Packers' first two games, Matthews matched his 2011 season total and showed opposing teams that his statistical drop-off in production was nothing more than a one-year glitch.
After the fourth-year linebacker dominated the 49ers and Bears in Weeks 1 and 2 and was on pace...
Packers head coach Mike McCarthy wants to get running back James Starks involved in the teams Week 5 gameplan.
This is the week we want him to push through & see if we can get him the ball, McCarthy said, via Tyler Dunne.
Starks has yet to see action this season after missing the first-four games of the season because of a turf toe injury. The 2-2 Packers face the 1...
Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings has been ruled out of the team's upcoming game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday with a groin injury, according to a tweet from NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. Jennings missed the Packers' game against the Bears with the same injury, but managed to play in the next two games after that. It's unclear when exactly Jennings will return...
Hard as it is to believe, Jeff Saturday needs a visitor's guide to Indianapolis.
Sure, he can give his Green Bay Packers teammates a list of restaurants to rival Zagat's after spending the first 13 seasons of his NFL career with the Colts. Have everyone over to his house if he wants. And he knows the way to Lucas Oil Stadium so well he could probably drive the team bus....

The Green Bay Packers have had one of the tougher schedules to start the year. They started with the stout 49ers, a division rival in the Bears, a Seattle game marred by the replacement refs and a Saints team desperate for a win. To come out of that with a 2-2 record could be looked at as a success or an utter disappointment.
And just when you thought the road gets a little easier...
