The Cowboys, Lions, Raiders and Buccaneers are all on bye this week.  That means players like Dez Bryant, Vincent Jackson, Calvin Johnson, Tony Romo, and Matthew Stafford are not available this week.  These are some substantially bigger names than we were missing last week so playing matchups with your backup players becomes far more important. One player you may be on the fence about is Danny Amendola.  After scoring a touchdown off of a fake field goal against an extremely difficult Seattle defense, he’s hard to rely on for a score against the 4-0 Cardinals, but Arizona allowed Brian Hartline and Davone Bess to accumulate a combined 19 catches for 376 yards in week 4 so don’t be surprised if Amendola is still able to put up numbers.  He has plenty of potential and he’s easily Bradford’s favorite receiver so if you need him, play him with confidence this week. Dwayne Bowe is also set for a big day.  With at least 7 receptions in each of his last three games, Bowe should have no tro...

Dez Bryant plows into Cowboys cheerleader

Time to trade Bryant: after his Monday night performance, its time to deal Dez from your fantasy team

Fantasy Football is a numbers game, and, Dez Bryant gave his owners impressive numbers last night. In great likelihood, he delivered a few owners just the line they needed to pull out a late game victory. His 8-105-0 line with a 2 point conversion tacked on was worth 12 points, an output no owner would object to. But, it might be the right time to move him. [...]

Jerry Jones disappointed, addresses Cowboys team in locker room

Owner and general manager Jerry Jones spoke with the Dallas Cowboys after the blow-out loss to the Chicago Bears featuring five Tony Romo interceptions. “Individually I just wanted to say that I could say, I’ve been buried nine feet under before with no hope and got to see some sunshine and came out and that’s what you got to do,” Jones recalled. “Nobody is more disappointed...

Vincent Jackson Hits 100 Yards vs. Washington

Buccaneers receiver Vincent Jackson caught six passes for 100 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Redskins.Fantasy Spin:Tampa Bay's passing offense started out poorly against the league's worst pass defense but rebounded in the second half. Jackson's production has been predictably disjointed. He had 100-yard games and a touchdown in Week 2 and 4 and 76 yards on...

Dez Bryant collides with Cowboys cheerleader (Video)

As previously noted before on this website, the NFL sidelines isn't exactly the safest place in the world as one Dallas Cowboys cheerleader found out last night. After Dallas wide receiver Dez Bryant made a sideline catch in the third quarter, he was pushed by Chicago Bears safety Chris Conte. Dez's forward momentum caused him to collide with a camera guy and a Dallas cheerleader...

Cowboys fans are losing hope

As our favorite angry Cowboys fan points out, the Cowboys are expecting inconsistency to regulate inconsistency. Jason Garrett seems to put together a greatly successful game plan one weekend, but then he follows it with a laughable one just a week later. Dez Bryant is accused of inconsistency, but his quarterback, Tony Romo, follows moments of brilliance with moments of incredible...

Five thoughts on Cowboys' loss to Bears

1. Tony Romo is not the problem so don't even start with blaming this loss all on him. The Cowboys quarterback made three mistakes Monday night and that was being careless with the football on the Lance Briggs touchdown return and the two fourth-quarter interceptions. Those plays obviously hurt the Cowboys but they weren't the sole reason for this loss. Yes, Romo deserves...

Redskins beat the Bucs by a foot

After the Bucs seemed to be on the wrong end of a looming blowout, they would hold the Washington Redskins scoreless in the second half and put up a fight. Unfortunately, it would be too little too late. The Bucs could not stop the Washington offense in the first half. After jumping out in front of Washington 3-0 after their first possession, Tampa Bay’s defense allowed three...
