Some call it a must win. It is certainly a difficult game to win, but I think that the loss of Plaxico Buress will seriously hurt the Giants's offense. He really would have sliced us up. This game comes down to whether we can stop Jacobs and get the Giants into a pass first mode. Despite his Super Bowl heroics Manning is still not a great quarterback and without his top receiver he could be lost. My Picks (for the record, these are just straight picks, and they have nothing to do with the Vegas spread). It should be evident early on if the Seahawks are doing well or not. If they are stopping the run and making Manning throw, SEA over NYG 31-21. If they aren't, then my prediction is NYG over SEA 17-7. Since I have to make a choice, I'll go with the Hawks doing their job. Prove me right.
