Atlanta at Philadelphia Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET, at Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia - TV: FOX; DirecTV: 706 *TV announcers: Dick Stockton, John Lynch, Jennifer Hale *Keys to the game: QB Matt Ryan's knack for dramatic comebacks has masked issues with Atlanta's offense that begin with subpar blocking for a ground game averaging just 3.7 yards per carry. The Eagles have a stable of pass rushers capable of forcing Ryan into mistakes downfield if RBs Michael Turner and Jacquizz Rodgers find the barn doors shut after the take the handoff. While Atlanta spent the bye week addressing defensive concerns including stopping the run and tackling in general. What the Falcons do very well is generate turnovers, which has led to a plus-10 turnover margin. That's a scary number for the turnover-plagued Philadelphia offense. This is not a game for Eagles coach Andy Reid to forget about the running plays in his playbook. The Falcons allow 5.2 yards per carry and allowed 149 yards on 32 attempts to the Raiders' inconsistent ground game the last time out. *Matchup to watch - Falcons WR Julio Jones vs. Eagles CB Nnamdi Asomugha: The 6-3, 220-pound Jones is enjoying a strong sophomore season with 30 receptions for 376 yards and four touchdowns. At 6-2, 210, Asomugha is one of the few cover men in the NFL who can match up with Jones physically. But Asomugha has also suffered a few assignment breakdowns the first half of the season that have led to big plays. Jones' 12.5-yard average per catch is down from 17.8 his rookie season, but he's very much involved in the downfield passing attack. *Player spotlight - Falcons CB Asante Samuel: Sent packing by Philadelphia for a seventh-round pick in the offseason, Samuel returned his 10th career interception for a touchdown in Atlanta's last game and didn't appreciate Eagles coach Andy Reid saying his skills had diminished. *Fast facts: The teams will meet for the fifth consecutive season. ... Mike Smith has 49 victories as the Falcons' head coach, tied for the franchise lead with Dan Reeves. WHO WILL WIN AND WHY For a 6-0 team, critics have found a way to poke plenty of holes in the Falcons' resume. They do need to run the ball better and stop the run, but the path to a big road victory is a well-rested team with a plus-10 turnover margin facing an Eagles offense plagued by self-inflicted wounds. *Our pick: Falcons 30-27
