Found October 28, 2012 on Giants Kickoff:
TweetThe week 8 injury report for the game between the NY Giants and Dallas Cowboys has a serious question mark for Big Blue. The list isn't long but a key player is in limbo 4 hours before kickoff. Kenny Phillips, Rocky Bernard and Jacquian Williams are definitely ruled out. Hakeem Nicks has been moved from questionable to probable as has Center David Baas. Ahmad Bradshaw however is still questionable. He participated in a limited capacity on Friday's practice but no concrete determination has been made. Will update as soon as it is known. My gut feeling is that he starts cause Bradshaw is one tough RB. Here is the full list. At 3-4, Cowboys Longshot for Playoffs

The Cowboys and playoffs don’t even belong in the same sentence, and the reality is the Cowboys playoff hopes are pretty much dead. Outside of week 1, the Cowboys have squeaked by mediocre teams and lost some really poor games. You really do not know what team is going to show up. One thing I do know is that since the Super Bowl in 2000, there has only been one team to make the...

Bryant shows potential, frustration in loss

ARLINGTON, Texas Dez Bryant is a tease. He teases the Cowboys with his immense talent. And infuriates them with his mistakes. Sunday's 29-24 loss to the Giants was a perfect example of the two sides of Bryant. He helped the Cowboys fall behind 23-0 by causing two huge turnovers, then helped them erase the deficit and nearly win. Bryant's final contribution at the end...

Dez Bryant catch overturned because his fingers were out of bounds

The officials in the Dallas Cowboys-New York Giants game overturned what would have been a go-ahead touchdown catch by Dez Bryant after determining the receiver’s hand was out of bounds before his body landed in. Bryant made a beautiful leaping grab for a 37-yard pass from Tony Romo in the end zone. The touchdown had the Cowboys up 30-29 on the Giants, but after reviewing the...

Cowboys email fans with instructions on how to cheer for team

Sometimes when your team is good enough it doesn’t matter if you have fairweather fans, the Miami Heat are a good example of that. Even the Giants in their past two Super Bowls years won the majority of their playoff games on the road. With that being said this email provided by Larry Brown Sports is pathetic. Dear [Season Ticket Holder], Sunday we need every Dallas Cowboys...

Cowboys at least know how to put on a show

ARLINGTON, Texas Say what you will about the Dallas Cowboys, but at least they find interesting ways to lose. In spotting the Giants a 23-point lead, the Cowboys set up a wildly entertaining second half. This team won't come anywhere close to the playoffs, but at least they'll have fun not getting there. Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo engineered a brilliant comeback to give...

Passion of Giants' Ahmad Bradshaw is often misconstrued and misunderstood

The love-hate relationship in New York isn’t only by way of the media; it’s with many of the fickle fans too. It remains a metropolis where it’s hard to be understood no matter how blatant you and your actions are. Since the last running back “bad guy” focus left in March with former New York Giants RB starter Brandon Jacobs, Ahmad Bradshaw has assumed that role. Slowly...

10 Things I Hate About You: Dallas Cowboys Edition

The Cowboys are 3-4. In my mind, they should be 6-1. The only game they really just got beaten was the Chicago game. They should have beaten Seattle. They should have beaten Baltimore. And they most certainly, despite falling down 23-0 midway though the 2nd quarter, should have beaten the Giants today. Without further ado, [...] Related posts: Cowboys Overcome Mistakes to Beat Redskins...

Cowboys rule out DeMarco Murray

The Dallas Cowboys have ruled out running back DeMarco Murray for Sunday’s showdown with the Giants. Felix Jones is set to get the start and Phillip Tanner has a good … Continue reading »

RB Ahmad Bradshaw active for Giants at Cowboys

New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw was active for Sunday's game at Dallas, the second week in a row he has played despite barely practicing because of a lingering foot injury. The Giants were without linebacker Jacquian Williams (knee), safety Kenny Phillips (knee) and defensive tackle Rocky Bernard (quadriceps). Dallas played its first game without linebacker and...

Critical mistakes lead to Cowboys' loss

ARLINGTON When the final frenetic 40 seconds were done here and replays showed Dez Bryant's fingertips to have landed out of bounds and what would have been a game-winning touchdown for the Cowboys overturned, all that was left was this sense we had seen all of this before. Not so much the particulars of Giants 29-23 victory, as the ending. Whenever these two teams have playeddating...

Giants control NFC East with 29-24 win at Dallas

Osi Umenyiora and the New York Giants were feeling awful, believing they had just suffered a monumental collapse. Upon further review, a replay overturned a Dallas Cowboys touchdown with 10 seconds left and the Giants held on for a 29-24 victory Sunday after blowing a 23-point lead, taking a firm hold on the NFC East lead. ''After going up 23-0 and having them come back...

Victor Cruz making progress in contract negotiations

Giants star receiver Victor Cruz may be close to getting a contract extension. (Credit: AP Photo) New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz has been long overdue for a contract extension, as his play has dictated a higher salary for quite some time now. According to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, Cruz is getting closer to a deal that will keep him with the Giants. Here is what Giants...
