The Dallas Cowboys will travel to the Georgia Dome and look to achieve a .500 record and hand a red-hot Atlanta Falcons team their first loss of the season. Last week against the reigning Super Bowl champion New York Giants, quarterback Tony Romo threw four interceptions but a 437-yard and two touchdown game (including one rushing) salvaged his day.Romo will be facing the 10th ranked pass defense and a defensive squad that picked off 10 passes, good for third in the league. He’ll be startable but proceed with caution. Running back DeMarco Murray has been ruled out due to the foot injury which means another start for Felix Jones. However, do not be surprised if he loses touches. Jones once had an opportunity to be Dallas’ feature back and failed to capitalize. In his last three games, Jones rushed for 144 yards on 46 attempts. He has regressed in each game since Murray went down with the injury. Keep an eye out for Phillip Tanner. Cowboys receivers will not be facing a favorable matchup this week but they did attain a notable feat last week. Three different players from the same team reached 100+ yards in a game for the first time since 1963. And 62 pass attempts is a fluky amount so it is unlikely that wideouts Miles Austin, Dez Bryant, and tight end Jason Witten can co-exist and put up numbers in the same week. Good start: TE Jason WittenMiddle of the road: QB Tony Romo, RB Felix Jones, WR Miles Austin, WR Dez BryantBad start: -- The Atlanta Falcons will defend their undefeated record in front of the whole nation in a Sunday night primetime game. The Dallas Cowboys' defense could be the toughest test for quarterback Matt Ryan. Ryan is facing the 3rd ranked pass defense that features new addition Brandon Carr and first-round pick Morris Claiborne. However, with his arsenal of weapons, Ryan can still succeed and put up points for his fantasy owners. Running back Michael Turner has fallen off a bit after a hot four-game stretch, rushing for 91 yards on 35 carries, an abysmal 2.6 yards per carry. The Cowboys lost one of their more valuable defensive players in Sean Lee during Week 7 so that should make things easier for Turner.Backup Jacquizz Rodgers is nothing more than a change of pace back as of now although he had his best game, an all-purpose 80-yard day, since Week 3. It seems that the two top receivers in this Falcons' offense can never perform well together in one game. Before their bye week, Julio Jones has dominated in odd-numbered weeks and Roddy White has come on strong in the even-numbered weeks.Since Jones outscored White by 85 yards and a score last week against Philadelphia, the trend would say it is White’s turn to shine. The pattern does have to end at some point during the season. Both wideouts are too talented for only one to play well. And 12-time Pro Bowl tight end Tony Gonzalez had his numbers plummet in the past two weeks with 71 yards combined but his dominance this year is still legitimate. He’ll be ranked as one of the top tight ends each and every week. Good start: QB Matt Ryan, WR Roddy White, Tony GonzalezMiddle of the road: RB Michael Turner, WR Julio Jones, Falcons D/STBad start: --
