Week Two scouting report: Seahawks-Broncos

If the Seahawks are to bolt out with the club’s first 2-0 start since 2oo6, they’ll need an encore performance from its patchwork offensive line while also neutralizing a young but talented Broncos receiving corps. Oh: finding a run game would be a welcome goal as well. When the Seahawks have the ball Without LT Russell Okung (ankle sprain) and RG Max Unger (toe), Seattle will have to make do with a hodgepodge line that will start free-agent journeyman Tyler Polumbus for a second week. The good news is that Denver’s pass rush may be the one of the few that is more questionable than Seattle’s. The Broncos had just one sack in last week’s loss 24-17 loss at Jacksonville, and if they are forced to blitz QB Matt Hasselbeck, the door will be open for a big play or two.
