Lavon Brazill was suspended for 4 games and Joe Lefeged was arrested in DC for gun charges. This adds to the Colts' troubles.Saunders played as the third string tight end for the Colts last season and did a pretty good job. He proved to be a solid blocker and had a few catches. You can't ask for much more from a third stringer. The Colts drafted Justice Cunningham in this year's draft, and with Saunders out for the first half of the season, one would have to think that Cunningham has replaced Saunders as the third string tight end. Indianapolis Colts tight end Weslye Saunders has been suspended eight games without pay after violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.
League officials did not say Thursday what substance was found in Saunders' test. He can practice with the team during training camp and can play in preseason games. He won't be eligible again until Nov. 4.
