Over the summer, while playing basketball, i had a similiar injury to what westbrook had this past sunday. I was playing ball on a saturday and on a fast break i turned awkwardly on defense and twisted my ankle and couldn't walk at all. Now that might sound bad, especially how i was using crutches that day, just like westbrook. now i took sunday off and did a lot of ice and soaking in an ice whirpool, and by monday i still couldn't really play. but by tuesday and wednesday, i was back in the flow of things and playin top-notch again. now i might have hurt it to a lesser extent than westbrtook, but i had a strained ankle just like him, and if i had a week just like he does, between the top of the line treatment he gets and not having to practice, by the time sunday rolls around he should be able to tape it up and get in there. then again football and basketball don't even compare when you talk about contact, and also, if he's not feelin well its just the bears and buckhalter shuld be able to hold the fort down until he gets back. But again, when u saw west it looked bad, and then you hear he's on crutches, but this is one of those injuries with the proper treatment he really should be able to play.
